Overall: B - The Dolphins have their best record at the halfway mark since 2002. Yes, there have been inconsistencies, questionable decisions and ugly, blowout losses to the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. But Miami is finally on a roll at the right time and currently has a three-game win streak.
Offense: B-, Who would have thought the first thing new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor would fix is the running game? The Dolphins are one of the best rushing teams in the league -- fourth in the NFL -- led by Lamar Miller. Despite good signs lately, the passing game remains a work in progress.
Defense: A-, You can't ask for more from Miami's defense, which is proving to be one of the NFL's best. The Dolphins have the league's second-best pass defense and have made stud quarterbacks Tom Brady and Philip Rivers look ordinary. Miami is allowing just nine points per game in its past three contests.
