evaluation of the dolphins receiving and rb corp

AS most people around here are probally thinking about our oline and our secondary being our weakest links , i want to delve into a problem that we have had since O.J. Mcduffie reired. Does anybody agree with me that our offense has not had a pro bowl wr or rb in several years? this is fascinating to me as dolphins fan, we have had duper, clayton ,and o.j mcduffie as pro bowler but unless i am missing someone i think its time to find players that can be stars and bring us some offensive excitement?
we have had dedric ward, oronde gadsen, yatil green, a wr named shepard (first name escapes me) , we had lamar thomas , and several other wrs that have not panned out. i am currious as to why these guys didnt pan out ?
we have had fb/fb konrad, dyer, akj , john avery, jj johnson, lamar smith (who i really liked) weedhopper, travis minor , brian edwards and kay jay harris .
isnt odd that all of our rivals have not gone through this many wrs and rbs/fbs. it seems as if this has been the real reason for our lack of sucess on the field. what gets me is we missed out on anqaun bolden, rashuan woods (who tore his hamstring not character problems ) we missed out on several other wrs because of our H.C. /G.M.
to keep from getting in this mess again i hope cam drafts a guy like wr bowman next year and draft a big te next year as well and i think drafting a rb every three years should help with this void.

i was just pondering this as to our current woes. what are your opinions on these players and do you disagree with this being a contributer to how we got in this mess ?
 
It's called 8 yrs of poor drafting by Wanny...that's why we seem to have lack of certain type skill players...It'll take time to get back to where we should be...
 
It has been a factor, but we do have pro bowl capable people on this roster. Chambers made it to the pro bowl a couple seasons ago, and Ronnie Brown is definitely capable of going IMO. Other than them two though there's really nothing but potential(Hagan and Ginn). They both have the tools to make it but it's impossible to tell if they ever will. I do have a Lot of confidence in Hagan though, the guy reminds me of Reggie Wayne and maybe has potential to be even better
 
lamar smith played good for us...it not all of player it hc that slowed down offensive to protected the lead in 4th qt or keep game closed...it work for ravens not dolphins...this all started with shula putting up lots of point and still losing game with a weak def.then he retired jj came aboard thinking that if he can slow dolphins offense down play defense they could win.if jj had stayed with dolphins 3yr longer the outcome of dolphins would have been
in better sharp than what it is now....
 
Obviously a lack of probowl players slows down your offense. Some of it is due to 1) bad drafting, 2) bad luck, 3) bad play calling and 4) bad o-line.

Irving Fryar was with us for 3 years and went to 2 probowls during that time. Dont know why we let him go though but he was a great reciever for us
 
did jimmy cut or trade IRVING Fryer ? i remember him a little bit but i really remember mark clayton and o.j. mcduffie.

OJ never made the pro browl although he should have in 1998 when he led the league in receptions
