He had more yardage on the ground than Ronnie and Ricky combined. Somebody shoulda thought it through a little more before letting him go. Im glad for him but not so glad for you guys team. Id say go after Bush or Lienart and see what happens next year.

oh please.
I can just imagine what you people would have said if they let him split time on the field with ricky and ronnie.

I honestly just had to laugh. I'm starting to question some of Saban's moves, and its time that people here stop putting him on a pedestal. Sure, he is and will be a good coach, but that doesn't mean he is not making mistakes worth criticizing.

Yeah we should have kept Evans and let someone like Howard go. :yell:  :fire:

so you wanted him to keep another RB?
why would we do that?

Heath Evans wasn't a bad fullback, which is what he was doing here. His performance pointed outw two things:
1. Evans is a good football player and was an asset to our team in whatever role
2. Bellichek proved that Saban still has a lot to learn by beating him with a cast-off.

We cut Evans because we needed a better blocker. NE picked him up because they needed a runner. Evans didn't have the ability we needed, while he had the one NE needed.

You're arguing that we shouldn't have cut our blocker because of how he ran the ball? That's apples and oranges.

He's related to Heath so he obviously thinks he's great.

I doubt that Bellichek picked him up to be a runner. It think thats just how things worked out. Bellichek knows that he is a good player, so when the oppurtunity arose, he tried something different and it worked.

Post of the day. I completely agree with you... absolutely right. People are never satisfied. We have 2 great runners and people are complaining because we let Evans go.
