Even one of the refs got in on Miami's victory

On NFL gameday highlights Deion Sanders asked why did they throw water on Philbin? No on on set answered him.

I'd honestly not mind if I never had to hear an analysis on anything about anything from Deion, ever.

For those who are unaware, Philbin's father passed this week and that seemed like the team's response to "we've got your back, coach."

The ref acts as if he had just been shot while Philbin hardly reacts at all. There is ice in the mans veins I tell ya.

It's hard to read Philbin. He shows emotion in front of his team like in the locker room but doesn't like to show it publicly in front of the other team or coaches. Maybe just trying to be classy and respectful.

Philbin is old school......classy and doesn't show up opponents. I'm sure he would have preferred that they didn't do the ice water thing.......

Nothing wrong with his style. The players seem to enjoy playing for him and it has been slow but steady improvement. He is also a very honest man and admits his own shortcomings....to his own detriment at times.

Philbin's hero was HC Landry from the cowboys.

This is more his style. It doesnt wear well with younger generation.
