games... Everything went right for us - even when it didn't. Pick six by Smokin' Jay? No problem - we answer with a score. 2 Safeties? What are the odds of that? Our corners have no INTs this year - woops - way to go X-man.

Stills, Landry and Drake w big games (sans fumble). Blocked punt - seems Fede gets a blocked kick of some kind every year.

My only complaint is this: 15 total first downs on O and 9 punts. Oh, and a horrid decision on the throw that went for the pick 6. We need to get better QB play if we are going to give NE a fight, or beat the Bills etc. Our QB play (and yes, I'm including Moore in there) just hasn't been enough to be the difference in games.

Here's to hoping the fins don't get too high after this blowout as the elephant in the room is still this: our QB play sucks horribly.

But here's the thing: if every team can have a game like this each year, what about the QB? Don't even the worst QBs have a monster game at least 1x per year? Jay is due - make it next week...please...

Too much to ask?
 
I wish these games came against the Pats. Other than that say goodbye to that top 10 pick
 
I wouldnt be surprised if Elway fires Vance tomorrow morning. We suck but are fortunate that his team is appreciably worse. I kind of suspected that letting Wade walk would ultimately contribute to Joseph's undoing (and no, I don't want him back!)
 
Tyron Taylor went down with an apparent knee injury. If it's what people seem to think, that can take us from splitting with the Bills to sweeping. We do that, and beat a KC team that is swooning hard and it gets interesting real fast. Only problem is next week. Next week will doom us to 8-8 purgatory. If we somehow steal that game, this season just got real.
 
this site just annoys me sometimes. You guys whine when we win and whine when we lose. We won 35-9, Drake ran for over 120 yards, the defense played great, and special teams was fantastic. Some of you guys need to give credit where credit is due, the constant threads like this get very old very very fast.

It was a nice groundhogs day game
 
For Miami this was a complete game. It’s as close as complete as this Miami team will get. But it was still sloppy mainly Cutler. Still awful. 3 turnovers including a pick 6. I’m not happy or bummed about the win. It’s just there. 5-7 gives Miami another dose of false hope.

I get your point but at the same time keep on mind that this team hasn't won in 44 years so they DON'T deserve the benefit of the doubt, specially when we have seen them win a game like this before, getting everybody's hopes high just for them to lay an egg the next week. You have to admit we just beat a horrible team that was missing several very good players and their QB does not belong as an NFL starter. Beat NE next week at home and you'll get more positive stuff here

The opposing quarterback had a passer rating of 30.5, due almost entirely to poor play and unforced errors on his part.

Under those conditions, anything less than a lopsided win is a disappointment.
