Everything seems to be coming together for Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill. With one game remaining in his third season under center, his numbers in all significant categories are up. So is the confidence his coaches have in him.

-A home victory over the New York Jets on Sunday would give him nine on the season, a career best.

-Tannehill has thrown for a career-high 26 touchdowns

-his 93.2 passer rating is nearly 12 points higher than what he finished with last season.

-His interceptions also are down from 17

-his completion percentage is up from 60.4 to 67.0

Just more wins Tanny, just more wins !!!

Ryan Tannehill: 'I feel like I'm better all-around'

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is set to be a free agent after next season. The Dolphins will have to make a decision about his 2016 option at some point in the next few months.

Working in Tannehill's favor is his career-best work on the field this season. "I feel like I'm better all-around,” Tannehill said, according to ESPN.com. “I think I've grown throughout the season and gotten better each week.”

Tannehill has already set career-highs in completions, completion percentage, yards per attempt, touchdowns, quarterback rating and QBR this season, and he'll set a career-high in passing yards if he throws for at least 128 yards on Sunday against the terrible Jets pass defense.

Zero chance he makes it to free agency.

I've got to admit, I'm combing through Ryan Tannehill's numbers and I've very impressed with the end results. I'm kind of surprised.

He's having a great year.

Better than I thought he'd have. Add a legit red zone threat and bolster the oline some more and watch out.

It looks like Omar doesn't watch the games, to me what he's accomplished is worthy of respect, he's made every one better in this offense, we finally have a QB.

WV hates it. Poor Flippy Flop. And best part Matty Pudding will choke again this Sunday

Exactly. Tannehill can easily be a top 5-10 QB in this league if we give him some help. It'd be nice too if the D would've helped him out this year a bit more!

Honestly, the Tannehill haters can suck a fat one. He's the guy. Get used to it.

Plain and simple. I had high hopes for him before the season only to be disappointed and I was ready to give up on him after the terrible first half he had against Green Bay. Boy, did he turn it around. He's the guy.

Quite frankly, I was having my doubts early in the season as well... But those doubts have been expunged. He's proven to me he's the man. Ride or die baby.

Since the team made the trip to London, he's been compiling very good numbers. 7.4 yards per attempt and a TD rate of 5.2%, while protecting the football fairly well. The goal should obviously be to see continued improvement, but since then he's just been playing really well.

I want to make a comment about how we also had an insane, statistically improbable number of drops the first three weeks of the season, but really, what's the point?
