Everything Will Be Bad Until O-line Is Fixed

Miami cannot go drafting a bunch of OL like it is the only priority of this team.

First thing is first, you have to figure out what to do at QB . . . .but you cannot bring back Ryan Tannehill next year on a $27 million dollar cap hit. You better negotiate a direct paycut, trade him or cut him.

In combination with that you need to figure out if this is the draft you take your QB and if there is a guy you have a serious conviction about you need to be prepared to do what it takes, within reason, to add him to your roster.

You also would be crazy to ignore what is looking to be the most talented defensive draft in a long time. This defense is bottom of the barrell.

Truth is, you have to develop your OL . . . .you can’t sign no big time FA with a massive Tunsil deal looming, not to mention you have to figure out what u are doing at RT.

Too many other areas need addressing to use any serious cap assets on the OL. I know some don’t wanna hear that but teams develop OL all the damn time with lesser capital . . . .Miami needs to do the same.

Resign Brendal and Swanson . . . . Bring back Sitton and Kilgore and figure out RT as my guess is Juwan may not be back.

Invest in some scouts who specialize in finding offensive linemen. This draft needs to go to adding more talent to the defense and offensive line.

Coming up on year 8 for this QB. He has not performed on contract. We are in a Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford nightmare at this point. The FO is torturing the fanbase with a failed quarterback, who has not once performed on contract.

Go troll somewhere else. There's plenty of other threads you can post your inaccurate assessments.

No. Off topic is any talk about Oline. The topis here is the failed QB, who got extended for no reason but to torture the fanbase. And a headcoach who cannot put together a successful staff, has no history of success, and has failed here, of course.
That is the topic, not the Oline!
You can't make up what the topic is about just because you want to.

It clearly says we need to fix the Oline to be successful.

No. You are inaccurate and trolling. Here is accuracy for you: This team is no closer to winning anything under three years of Gase than it was five years ago under Philbin, not is it any closer than it was eight years ago when this quarterback was drafted. That is to say, they are not close, and they have not performed on contract, they have failed on their four year contracts.

Judas priest. THIS THREAD IS ABOUT THE OFFENSIVE LINE. Are you really too stupid to get that?

Jake Brendal holds his own at both guard and center. But boy has Jesse Davis regressed over the last 8 games or so. Swanson held his own, as well, at center, until his Injury. I'd look to re-sign Swanson and cut both Larsen and Kilgore in the off season.

Seems like this same post could have been every year for the past 20 years...

When was the last time we had a decent OL? Wannstedt years and maybe a 2 year stretch with Sparano?

OL needs a QB that is alive and not stiff.
what has been the one constant on our sucky offense? Tanny.
look at Luck, at Allen they react and move. they dont stand in the same spot as if panicked.

The OL has been BY FAR the BIGGEST issue on this team since Tanehill was drafted PERIOD! Tannehill is not an all pro, but he is a very good NFL QB who has a very good record when his starting OL or resemblance there of is healthy. When healthy his lines over the years have still been in the bottom quarter of the league. our back ups over the last 7 years have been a sad joke. People who think Tannehill is the issue don't know football at all. If you draft a QB in the first round with the other issues on this team, we will be a below .500 team.

Man at this point imagine if we had the opening day starting OL for at lest 8 games even? So frustrating

Funny part is Tunsil may be the best LT in football and the line is still full of nightmares
