This to me just says teams didnt want a distraction from someone who they don't see is going to compete as a starter. I don't see much positive...

In Miami there is huge positive for him.

If he proves to be good enough, and beats out Wilson, he will be the backup of a starting QB that is one concussion away from being done, and even if Tua does prove to be passed his concussions issues, Tua will will miss time, and he will get a shot or many to prove himself, so worst case scenario for him, if he can make the best of it when he gets a shot, he will be highly sought after in trades if Tua proves himself this season.

Next year or in two years he is either starting for Miami, or traded to another NFL team to start there.

I question anyone's intelligence who willingly leaves 7 million dollars on the table to be a 3rd string QB.

He’s already made millions…we should be happy he’s committed to starting for the Miami Dolphins!

He isn't as talented as Zach Wilson. Ppl are very quick to forget Wilson was the SECOND OVERALL PICK IN THE DRAFT.

Ewers is the emergency QB, nothing more.

Draft position proves nothing…many busts drafted in round 1 and there are all-time greats drafted in the later rounds…it’s not a science!

What’s between the ears is critical for a QB!

If Wilson is a bust.... so is Tua.

So let me get this straight. Tua looked awful... absolutely awful for his first two seasons until he had his only good season in 2023 but we're writing off Zach Wilson as a bust becuase he looked bad when he was 22 and 23 and in an impossible situation...... why don't we see what Wilson looks like now that he's 25 and has some reps before we call him a bust.

Nobody is writing him off…

We also aren’t writing off Ewer’s just because he slipped in the draft either?

Man, really like Gruden after seeing this, knows the game well. Also really like the kid, think he has a passion for the sport and willingness to learn and improve. Seems to have arm talent as well.

There are literally people in here saying Ewers will get a 100 million dollar contract. That's on the complete other end of the septum from how quick everyone is to call Wilson a bust.

Are both of them shitty? At this point, yes they are. I'm just pointing out the hilarious hypocrisy and delusion that exists among this fanbase.

I'd love Ewers or Wilson to steal Tuas job, I can't stand Tua but its very, very unlikely Ewers or Wilson amounts to anything. Athleticism is in Wilson's favor hands down, that's why I have more hope in him than Ewers

Ewers was the top prospect in the entire country coming out of high school?

Regardless of his draft position, it would be foolish to not give him a full opportunity and full support!
