Excellent Reddit thread on OL

@RobertHorry shared this with a few of us and it's work a read and to listen to video.

Long story short they were thought a technique that isn't very successful and had messed up good OTs around theeague

This offense was doomed from the get go...

The tape is definitely revealing when it comes to this possible explanation. They all seem to have very slow hands and it turns out it might be a coached technique. My problem if this is the case is why didn’t the coaches notice that what they were teaching WASN’T WORKING and then change things up?? The further we get away from Flores….The more I’m glad we’re getting further away from Flores.

Wow...I don't know enough about OL technique but that sounds awful.

I believe some of our olineman are salvageable with proper coaching. Let's just hope they can forget everything that was told to them because they were feda bunch of bs. The damage may be done but fortunately most are young enough to learn the right technique with a real scheme. Flo ignored the O and shame on Grier for not seeing it sooner.

I don't know anything about OL technique, but Jesse Davis turned from a pretty serviceable lineman to a turnstile almost immediately, and Erik Flowers regressed with us and played much better for someone else which proved that the coaching was holding back this team.

McDaniel is bringing in an army of coaches with OL backgrounds to fix this mess lol.

Look at Davis here... you can see what he's talking about...

Yeah that video immediately sprang to mind when I read this because I remember seeing Jesse Davis do this in that video and I was thinking like... wtf are you doing you know who your man is already.

How do you describe this kind of coaching other than blatant sabotage?
