No idea what talent the FO will give him, and waay too early for projecting wins. however, are you looking for him to do a quick turn around or, being patient to give him a year to just see a positive direction in what he is installing into the team?

Tannehill must get back on track.

Unless the talent on our D rises significantly, I think 8-8 would be a good season

maybe if you find one linebacker, a safety, a guard and at least 1 corner a winning season might be an option, but it would take even more than that for me to be happy with the roster (and that depends on what happens at DE)

Ryan Tannehill 38 TD's and 4 INT, 4,323 Passing Yards

Rookie head coach and Tannenbaum building the roster, best bet 5-11

Schedule is brutal. We may beat Tennessee, St. Louis, San Fran, Cleveland, toss in an AFC east win. That's generous.

If they clean out that locker room and get 6 wins, that's a good start.

Some in here already know he's a failure without ever giving him the slightest of opportunity...

He's not a miracle worker, nobody could turn this team around that fast....But a substantial improvement in areas of preparation, planning, discipline, game time adjustments, and playing smart should be expected....I'd be happy with just a constant improvement...

I don't think there is a single coach in history that could turn this absolute mess of a franchise around in just one season. I also maintain that this team is not NEARLY as talented as some fans seem to think it is, and that Ross and Co. keep claiming that it is.

That said, this draft is enormous.

After that, I want to see a complete change in culture, the end result/record doesn't really matter as much as the culture change does. It's a tall order, because it's taken 15+ years of sheer, utter imcompetence for the franchise to rot into the festering pile of garbage that it currently is. Without a complete change in culture (in a positive way), the team will just continue to spin its wheels and frustrate whatever fans still remain.

Come on bro...what kind of attitude is that?

Depends on his DC. Even the greatest offenses can't overcome historically bad D play.

I think we are at least 3 wins better than this year...coaching alone, with the same roster. Now you throw in a decent draft/FA pickup and a decent DC....perhaps even better.

On O, he will have considerable talent if we keep Miller and Cam at skill positions. The OL IF AND WHEN healthy needs a couple of upgrades. I can see him showing improvement and the right direction but, it is still gonna be a new scheme once again for players to adapt to.

On D, the DL can be VG IF we keep OV, Phillips develops, and maybe keep Wake and Shelby. Past that, we have Jenkins at LB and Jones at safety. The FO could add a VG young CB in place of Grimes, could draft Hargraves, and could add a vet LB or two as band aids but, it's still gonna be a new systen for players to adapt to.

I think 8 wins would be an accomplishment, and am looking more to give him a year to settle in, evaluate, and make moves and a move in 2017.

Ross said this will take time. Tannebaum is building his team now from the bottom to the top and it starts in 2016. He has no ties to Ireland or Hickey's players. Guys like Miller, Vernon, Matthews, I wouldn't expect them back. I know it's hard to accept but we aren't playing for anything in 2016 other than deciding Tannehill's fate.

Hard to tell at this point of course but woth 2 better guards I would expect the offense to be much better under him. The defense needs at least 1 corner plus 2 LBs and a DE so that might take time
