Experts Needed: Updates Merling and Langford

Things have been pretty quiet with these guys lately. I know they are getting pretty involved and have come through when needed, but does anyone have an in depth analysis on these guys?

I havent noticed much of Merling besides a batted pass or two.. Langford on the other hand I see alot of. He gets around from the edge and makes good tackles on running plays.

Also, both Merling and Langford have contributed to a defensive end rotation that has been very stout against the run (Miami is allowing just 97 rush yards per game, good for 11th in the NFL).

That's pretty good for a couple of rookies. They can only get better.

I definatley agree. NT's take time to develop, but we could squeez a few more years out of ferguson.

But yeah it almost seems like thats the most essential cog in a 3-4, is having a true 2 gap NT and they are SO FREAKIN RARE I HATE IT!!!!!
