I've been a Dolphins fan, literally, my entire life. I've always been a glass half full fan. But not now. I've grown tired of this mess that we've been fielding since Shula left. It's a disaster and extremely discouraging. We lost AT HOME to a Che ifs team that we are better than - on paper. What's worse is that they were without seven starters. SEVEEN. That is almost 1/3 of their starters (counting both sides of the ball). LMAO! That is embarrassing. I have also been a half hearted supporter of Tannehill. But I have to say (and I consider myself as a bit of a QB "expert") that he just doesn't have it. Not saying that he doesn't try. But his awareness on the field is sub-par in comparison to my 15 year old son. And I'm not even exaggerating. He didn't LOSE this game for us. But he by no means helped us at all. I don't if all of those hits has made him scared, but he seems to focus more on pass rush than his receivers. Unfortunately, he has done that the majority of his time with Miami. Late in the game, on 3rd and 20, he could have ran the ball for a first down. It would have been easy! He had 30 yards of open field in front of him. Instead, he threw a floating duck out of bounds. A QB quarterback with field and situational awareness would have pulled it down and ran it. Terrible. I'll be fair and say that we had 3 drops early in the game, but other than that, the majority of misses were on him.

Also: when you're running the ball as freely as we were, why the **** not keep smashing it at them? It was almost comical to see us go away from the run. Hell, I'd venture to say we could have ran the ball on every play and the Chiefs wouldn't have been able to stop us. Lastly: Philbin has the emotions of a ****ing mule. He has no fire at all. He would pass for simply not giving a ****. I mean seriously. How can you be involved, in any capacity, in a competitive sport and be so emotionless? It's sort of disturbing.

I had high hopes for going into the bye week at 3-1. Now, I can barely hang on to hope that we'll be 2-2. This team has regressed. Save a few guys with heart, the team, as a whole, lacks it. It's really disappointing.

Before someone suggests that I am just being negative, see my pasts posts. I never post anything like this. But it's real folks. The Dolphins are bad. The first game meant nothing. Hell, the Patriots have taken a few steps back. We have a long way to go.

Stopped reading after you said you "consider yourself a bit of a QB expert"

coaching is terrible and that is where it starts. they can't judge talent either and this insistence to stick with a bad QB will doom them. philbin will lose this locker room soon and then guys just start mailing it in every week. the team needs to get totally blown up and rebuilt from the bottom. I mean entire coaching staff needs to be gone and start trading guys for picks.

Its a team devoid of any playmakers with the persona taken from their dead fish of a HC.

I think people blame Tannehill so badly because it makes them feel he can be replaced and things will change.

This is patented Dolphins football. Swapping QBs isn't going to remove the culture of suck that this organization has worked so hard to build.

I can judge, and just as much as a QB guru as Philbin. Tannehill doesn't have it, the coaches don't have it, and many of the players don't have it.For you guys that chear for 7 or 8 wins, good for you but I'm sick of it. I'm staying a fan but damn it I want change. Mr. Magoo and Mr Rogers are not the answer. Don't know who is but I know their not. The guys who get paid millions are the ones I hols accountable to decide who is right. They have failed miserably since shula and Co.

goes without saying but...

nothing is like a lazor...

Why? Just curious. Do you know the OP?

No, do you? I just don't listen to people who come to an online message forum under complete anonymity claiming "I'm an expert" so you should take my word for it

Tannehill is regressing. He is cracking under the pressure. He has choked 2 games in a row. He has all the tools physically. It's between his ears that the problems lie. 58 sacks last year didn't help. He, so far, is a poor fit for this new offense. I was a huge Tannehill fan. Now I have major doubts. I was sure he would bounce back and play great today. Boy was I wrong! As a side bar, I do not know what Philbin does well. This team looks ill prepared, every game, right out of the gate.

I'm disappointed that you allowed yourself to be disapppointed. That tells me you bought into the bs. There are so many holes on this team it's the swiss cheese of the NFL. Absolutely no defensive depth besides the dline. QB is a wide receiver. Oline is a patchwork mess still with our best lineman injured. This team will be lucky to win 6 games this year.

His post makes more sense than most of the **** posted tonight.

I was around in 1972 when we were great! I'm a huge fan and love the Dolphins, always will. This group has me pissed from the owner, to the coaches to the FO any finally the performance on the field. Shula would have lost it!!! Philbin is la de da, Captain Clueless of the Western World. If I was Ross he'd be out today. Enough! This team comes out of the gate NOT prepared to play 3 weeks in a row. I wouldn't need to see any more of this Head Coach. He is a loser and he is not a leader of men. I don't know what he does well.

Play calling was awful 2nd and 1 and you pass? OL is no better than LY. We lead the league in drops. We have no WR coach and we have no LBs. Trusnick is terrible. Our DBs and D is deplorable and our QB follows a close second. Please fire Philbin tomorrow.
