The Dolphins today released wide receiver Ronald Bellamy and signed veteran guard Frank Middleton.
  • Middleton, 30, has played in 109 games during his career (92 starts). He played the past four years with the Oakland Raiders after spending the first four years of his career with Tampa Bay (1997-2000).
  • Frank Middleton has a lot of experience and can be effective as an in-line blocker, but has a lot of limitations. He lacks the makeup most teams are looking for at this point. He's one of those traditional Raiders. FoxSports

  • Houck likes huge lineman that are "people movers" this guy fits that profile.

looks like hadnot will be moved to center and middleton will replace mckinney! this will be the final piece to an improved o-line. i`m cool with the aquisition! go fins

Meet your new starting RG. If he's healthy he is a big huge dominator.

Our line just got a lot better with this signing.

No problem with this pickup. We have all been hoping that Hadnot would be moved to center during the off season and now it may possibly happen. I may be mistaken, but did McKinney play some guard during college and when we first drafted him?

Dang, another Brick Sh*t House on our line!! 2 in 2 days!! It's a good week for our QB's!!

What about A-frame (Alonzo Ephraim)?

saban is happy with hadnot sowhy sign a guard? in my opinion Ephraim is just a backup!
hadnot played center in college which means that he will play center if saban lines up the 5 best linemen! Carey, James, Hadnot, Middleton, McDougal!

Mckinney will be in a fight for his Dolphin life with these last 2 signings.

That is one HUGE! arse line.

Yeah, I though Middleton was a premier lineman.....i must be kind of wrong as he was still a FA. I think I remember last season at the time the Raiders wern't putting Robert Gallery in the line-up because Middleton was playing so well.

Good Pick up see u in hell Seth. A Frame is a good back up IMO.

MIddleton is a BIG boy. I like the signing and expect him to make this team. I think he is underrated and can do some big things.
