This is a great read

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page...0202&sportCat=nfl&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1

He talks about how the NFL fumbled the ball in the handeling of spygate, and how Walsh is not new news. In fact none of this is new news, yet it JUST got out to the public because the NFL has been unreachable up until the press conferences for the Super Bowl.

I.E. This would have been a much bigger deal earlier on had the media had more access to the NFL. So much for the "piss on the pats Superbowl party" theories. He said he's talked to Walsh NUMEROUS times in the past months.

The NFL however...has not :)

Enjoy!

This sounds ALOT like what happened in Italy's Serie-A with Juventus...

...they looked unbeatable and always a step ahead of everyone...until they got caught cheating.

I think Goddell should take away their 7th overall pick, and give Belichick a year off for his actions without pay.

Wow, great article. This could have huge implications. If most of this information is indeed true, just to think the Rams, Panthers & Eagles (*whom all lost by 3 points in superbowls to the Patriots) may all have gotten snubbed.

Sad, just sad.

But seriously, I think it would be dumb to punish the current Patriots for these allegations. It would make no sense to punish the team now for something they did years ago. The worst thing you can do is go back and void those superbowls won by New England but that would scar the NFL for life.

Maybe something along with how they punished the 49ers for tweaking the salary cap. If you guys remember the 49ers were punished for years for having had tweaked the salaray cap (by not providing correct numbers on contracts) thus allowing them to sign many pro-bowl players, which is how they won their superbowl when Deon Sanders was there. They were horrible for many years thereafter, when the Commisioner Taglibue decided to strip them of salary cap benefits. For many years, their salary cap was much lower than all the other teams in the NFL.
