If Daunte Culpepper started yesterday and went 26/41 for 232 yards with 0 TD's & 2 INT's with that 58.2 QBR.. throwing the exact same passes in every possible sequence [note: Harrington's two INT's led to what, 10 points?], let's be honest here: you guys would've been calling for Joey Harrington next week.

Am I right or wrong?

Echoing what I've been saying all day. The only difference is Joey was sacked less. Yet, his numbers were no better than DC and we still lost.

There are other issues with this team. Offensive philosophy, OL, penalties, injuries, and some coaching. (Chambers caught that ball!)

14 points. You're 100% right. Almost seems like anything Joey does is okay, but anything Culpepper did was magnified x5.

Yes, the fans are frustrated so they put all the pressure on daunte

Yup, almost reminds me of Fiedler/Griese.. even though both of those guys sucked, while Culpepper is a Pro Bowl caliber QB [when healthy] and Harrington is "okay" but better as a backup.

I remember the explosion on this forum when Fiedler went down and Griese had that one great game. The next game, he threw a pick on a horrible pass and Finheaveners threw out every excuse in the book. As much as I truly hated Jay Fiedler, he wouldn't of gotten the "pass" on this forum..

I totally agree with this post and been saying it to everyone I know. Most of them Joey supporters. What I noticed was Joey looked for the short reads right away while Daunte looked for Chambers first always.

I think Joey will be ok Manager of the game, but wont ever Break the game oppen like Daunte can when healthy.

I am all for Joey playing now if it means a healthier better daunte down the road, but please lets not sig the praises of joey until he shows something better then daunte did. At this point they are the same QB, one with less Sacks.

It would have been Culpeppers 5th game, not his 1st. Lets see, if it was Cullpepper who had to do what Joey did, this is what we would have heard.... It was the o lines fault, Mularky's fault, Welkers fault for letting the ball go off his hands, no running game, he hadn't played for 4 weeks, It was the Pats on the road, It was the kicking games fault, the recivers weren't getting open, the sun was in his eyes.....am i missing one of the 20 excuses people made for Culpepper yet?

When your offense struggles against the Pats and Bellicheck it is somewhat understandable, when it's against Buffalo, the Titans and Texans it isn't.....Maybe you should go ask Carson Palmer and the Bengals, they were dismantled at home against the Pats the week before........

The offense looks a lot better with Harrington in as the starter, everything is much more fluid and everyone seemed to be on the same page.

Exactly I Said That Yesterday When Everone Said Joey Played Good. Good??? Lol Lol Lol Lol Lol

The thing is, Daunte likely would have LOOKED worse doing it.. He would have been sluggish, looking baffled, and tripping allover himself and getting sacked.. And likely would have fumbled. Harrington just looks crisper. He was working on short notice and showed some signs that he could improve.. Culpepper displayed no such signs during his starting tenure...

With God, anything is possible.. Even Joey Harrington being better than Culpepper.. God works in mysterious ways.

You're both.

Fact of the matter is the offense looked a lot better under Joey then it did under CPep. Are you denying that? Also, remember this was against the Pats at their place. Not Houston at home, the worst D in the league. Or Tennessee at home, who gave up more than 40 before our game and after our game.

Finally someone says what I have been thinking all day. Some people go as far as to say Harrington did amazing. Please.... Two ints, no TDs and similar stats to Culpepper week one... One thing that was better was the fewer number of sacks, but the o-line did play better.
