The larger problem isnt Sparano, or Ginn being a bust, or who is the QB, Henne or Penny.
The real problem is at the top, above Parcells.
Mr H blew it again. No, this isnt a criticism of Parcells. He's a fine coach, AND a rookie CEO.
This team and its fans deserved better than a rookie HC this time around.
We had Mustache, Saban, Cameron, now Sparano. By hiring Parcells as GM/CEO or whatever his title is, Huizenga ensured our new HC would be a Parcells protege...a rookie in other words.
The state of this team demanded a veteran HC, not another experiment.
Not another 'works in progress' type coach.
Not another HC that would learn on the job.
Whether Mr. H should have made a stronger run at Cowher or not, any coach with HC petigree should have been a criteria written in stone.
I know many of you will point to other rookie HC doing pretty good, look at the Steelers. But the Fins are not the Steelers. No where near the talent level on this roster.
The Fins have been losers for a little while now...better said, they havent been a contender in forever.
This team is far from being turned around...and just as far from showing progress or improvement on the field...at least improvement that anyone other than the rookie HC can observe!
Mr. H, you blew it with another flawed hiring strategy.
