Fair Weather Fins...

id say about 80% of the peopl i hear on these boards are the biggest fair weather fans ive ever listened to. lets see which QB had more yards a less INTs tonight, well he must be our new starter, give me a break sage rosenfels our starter what a joke our team would look like. be a true fan and stick with ur pick.

i wouldn't call that a fairweather fan. you can point out that someone flip-flops, but a fairweather fan would be somone who doesn't root for the team when they suck.

Being that all of us are on here discussing the team and watching the games (even though they suck), it would be inaccurate to call anyone here a "fairweather" fan. Further, as fans, it is our right to discuss the team and criticize where we feel it is appropriate. Its the beauty of the boards! Freedom of speech, its a wonderful thing.

To the QB issue - the fans are going to be fickle when the Qbs suck. Have you watched them play? Most other team's 3rd string Qbs look better than our first stringers.

I like your fire and all, it's great.
The problem is that there is no pick at QB right now and I'm betting Saban isn't even sure so you are going to see some fans going off the deep end and screaming for Brock Berlin to come back and start. It's just the way it is.
 
maybe we have a team of 3rd stringers but i say fairweather fan because every1 flip flops week to week depending on who played better then trashes the other... this week sage is good well lets trash the other two and make him starter... last week feeley did good so lets trash gus and start feeley... first week gus does good so lets trash feeley and release him... hell early this week its when is couch and rohan going to start for us, yeh lets bring in more 3rd stringers.

yes but we never stop rooting for the Dolphins. changing from player to player is not being a "fairweather" fan.

ohall's ave says it the best... "not a player's fan... a dolphin fan!"

switching from one player to the next is flip-flopping for sure.. but not fairweather.

he goes door to door and sells rohan davey buttons for a dollar and tim couch buttons for 50 cents. :)

all proceeds go to the "bring rohan home" foundation. Secretary of State Dudeman arranges invites and donations from prime ministers and shieks from all over the world. It really is for a good cause. I'm running for re-election in a few weeks and I want you all to know that I care. Me and my staff will be organizing the "offensive line for beginners" fundraiser to bring in some cash for new offensive lineman. :goof:
 
ive stuck with gus frerotte all along personally. Last season i was a Fiedler guy. I always knew feeley would be a bust. He was 3rd on the depth chart for a reason.
