This is to all the people out there who think that Miami has "fairweather fans". Maybe you should think before you foam at the mouth saying that we Fins fans don't support the team. People flew from not only the U.S., but from all over the world to see one of their own get inducted into the Hall of Fame, and the Fins fans overran the place!! That just goes to show that our fanbase (although they may not get to attend games due to location) is extremely strong, and we've gone global on your a$$es!

Most teams have fairweather fans. Except the teams that are always in the bottom of the NFL standings.

We're see how the seats in Dolphin stadium fill up or if a company has to buy the last 1000 or 2 to lift the black out
 
Miami as a town is full of fair weather fans, regardless of the sport. If the team doesn't win the seats are not filled, it happens with the Marlins, Canes and Fins so just because someone flew to Ohio does not mean the Miami's fans are not fair weathered. South Florida fans in general might be the worst in the ocuntry when it comes to sticking with their temas through thick and thin.
 
The Miami Dolphins have one of the largest fanbases of any professional sports team in the country...but locally, the fanbase is downright pathetic.
 
Miami has many fans around the country me included that has never been able to go to a home game but I still make sure to watch every game

That's because most miami fans don't live in Miami anymore. The are scattered all over.
 
i think we hav a lot of fairweather fans, awhile back when the phins were playing the colts in the playoffs the game was about to get blacked out cuz they didnt sell out and my dad got tix the saturday before the game i found that story rediculous we barely sell out i live in houston and i went to check for some tix and most of the games are sold out and i believe we have only sold out the pats game and the jets and half the fans at jets game are jets fans

I understand that Miami has fairweather fans AS DOES EVERY OTHER TEAM.....but you missed my point. Miami has ALOT of die hard fans based in other areas that make up for it, yet we are always labeled as having some of the most fairweather fans around

Is it really that hard to comprehend what I said?? Due to geographical constraints, many fans CAN'T ATTEND GAMES....
 
Lets see, the stadium holds about 65,000 seats and they don't sell 1000 and the Miami fans are fair weather, i don't think so..........

And wtf do you know? Have you been to the games down here? The Fins are the biggest show in this town, and they have all the support in the world. Thats more than I can say for a town full of mongoloids.
