I was listening to wqam an I caught the tail end of what they were saying but I heard them say that Moore signed a two year extension worth 6 mill. Maybe Miami is content where they are at qb this year and won't draft a qb. I wouldn't mind it. Draft coples in first, take wr in 2nd or third.
 
So extend the guy making peanuts but do nothing to reduce the cap hit of the dude making $13 million. Smart.
 
Ive always believed that they werent going to reach or move up for tannehill at 8 or above. Adding another qb its just going to cause confusion, if you cant get production out of moore or gerrard in a new offense scheme then next draft we will get a wco type qb.no sense in tyring to reach for a qb just to have a qb..that would make 3 guys competing in camp.. maybe they roll with devlin who knows.

I would think Matt Moore would sign for a little more than that.

Ireland got a steal if this is true.
 
I'm ok that we got our back up QB for the next 3 years. Now we need to get our starter, the one that can take us all the way.

hell we havent found a qb in over a decade so why look now lol. Havent read about extension anywhere meanigful. Prob will happen just like when they tried to replace Sparano they extended him it seems our way of doing things
 
Well, $3M a year is more than he's making now?? but it likely is structured to save some room against the cap...

If thats what they signed him for than they see him as just a backup. If he did sign for that I think he has a dumb agent because if he had played well this year he could finally make some money. Prob a good idea though because I dont see him as more than a backup
 
Could you have heard them talking about Matt Moore of the Devil Rays ??
 
If true, moore starts, has another good year and we trade to a team if we draft tannehill/cousins/weeden. nice easy contract. ability to get value from nothing.
