Fan pressure for change

Enough is enough.

I propose a campaign to affect changes in Dolphin football operations staff.

I have linked the Email info for the Dolphins communications staff. I WILL contact every one of them multiple times, perhaps on a daily basis, expressing my displeasure with the direction and recent history of the team.

I will also relentlessly comment on podcasts, media PCs, etc.

Anyone have other ideas as to how to convey our message to those residing in the castle?

You must be awful to deal with IRL.

I'm already on twitter posting about the direction of the team. About the offensive scheme not working under McDaniel and why the players were more disciplined under Flores and not McDaniel. I've been complaining about the conditioning of the players after Kim Bokamper pointed out the lack of stamina of the players during the Seattle game. And the lack of emphasis on conditioning overall. Especially with it being pointed out McDaniel doesn't believe in, end of practice sprints, but instead would rather practice plays and scheme.

Just maybe a part of why the team is SO SOFT, is because they are soft.

But to the point of the thread. I'M IN!!!

It is sad to me when it seems like the fans care more about wins and losses than the players. I know there are players who care, but the body language of the team concerns me. Perhaps that's mostly my perception as a fan who watched football dating back to the early 70's. It was obvious after the game which team won and which team lost in that era. Now, it's all smiles, exchanging jerseys, taking selfies etc.

I doubt Ross pulls the plug after this year. Maybe if the team continues to play as poorly as they did against GB. But if the Dolphins rebound enough to win 7-8, which I think is likely, will Ross really make changes? McDaniel has a winning record in the NFL at the moment.

But, like many fans here, I want to see a physical brand of football. That's why I became a Miami fan in the first place. Watching Larry Csonka rumble over defenders, a defense that made opponents pay for every yard, a coach that demanded attention to every detail. That was the epitome of football.

Pittsburgh has essentially kept the same brand for 50 years. It's a little different, as times have changed, but it's physical, tough football. That still wins in this league, especially if you can complement that with some playmakers.

Excellent.

I'm not much of a Twitter/X guy, so that's a good avenue of "attack".

Yeah, I know you and I have talked about this. I like McDaniel, some of what he does is great. But, wow, is this team outmatched by the better teams in the league. The more physical teams.

Thursday games are admittedly tough, especially for the traveling team. But it shows IMO a lot about the coaching staff. Green Bay was so, so much better than Miami. The Dolphins got bullied and pushed around the entire game. It was just simple football. Nothing elaborate, unexpected, trick plays etc.

Can McDaniel suddenly change? Maybe a little, but expecting the Dolphins to become one of the more physical teams with him at the helm doesn't seem likely either. Even if the GM drafted the most physical players at every position, if you aren't practicing that, you're going to be soft.

More to your point. I posted in the NFL news thread about the resurgence of the running game throughout the NFL. And how it positively affects winning. Pound the goddam football. It helps. In addition it's been my personal believe the scheme on offense is too complicated, hurting the overall offense, especially in games like last night. And thats inspite of Tua's incredible feats, since his return.

I'm in but for this to work, we as fans have to be specific ......it starts with grier.....Ross needs to get rid of him and bring a GM from the outside......big mistake Ross made was to named grier as the GM when we all knew he was a part of all the losing for this century .......think about it......different HC's, different players but the results have been the same and who is the constant ? Grier........if we're going to complain to Ross then we all need to be on the same page which starts by getting a new GM from the outside.....do not promote a GM that has been a part of this horrible losing culture

Dont boycott the game but implement a 'WE BUY NO FOOD OR DRINKS AT THE STADIUM'

Get rid of them all Grier and McDaniel

well, get rid of Grier and let the new GM decide who the HC should be.....this team needs to run a real TC instead of summer camp.....this team needs to practice instead of givng players every day off they want.....they have created a soft team by babying these players.
