I would love to see them sign him to a new contract but $10million a year for three years considering the cap situation the Dolphins will be in going into the 2024 season is too much for a backup LB.

That's why it's a fan sight I don't knock anybody for there opinion.AVG been a good player sense we drafted him.And we have payed others more then that that took the money and done nothing. AVG and me would set down and he would be Dolphin for 3 more years .
 
Jeez I would take 1 more Gink over 15 more Bakers.

Has Baker ever shed a block?

J.Phillips keep doing the same thing that’s costing him plays this season so far.

His pass rush has all been wide and those tackles are more than happy to help him get there. There’s practically been zero inside moves.

All speed outside rush.

I like the kid, too. Was hoping for a higher ceiling.

You can't even say it's a new scheme issue. To be a top Edge, at some point you have to dominate 1v1.

I agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion. My opinion is the Dolphins from a cap perspective just can’t afford to pay a backup LB $10 million a year.

That doesn’t mean I don’t want them to resign AVG to a new contract. I would love to see him remain with the Dolphins beyond this year but they also need to resign Hunt, Williams, Jackson, and Wilkins if possible. Also with Tua likely signing a new contract for a lot more money. I just don’t see how they would have money left over to sign AVG to a 3 year $30 million dollar contract.

he did try a spin move that was not good and it’s the play he got hurt

Fangio lobbied for van ginkel and now van ginkel is our defensive mvp thus far, I’d bet he doesn’t go anywhere

Is there actual evidence of that? Or just opinion?

Not busting balls, I just don't recall seeing that and I follow the team pretty closely.

I'm skeptical because of the seemingly forced move to reserve ILB in TC.
