He was a pro scout in Atlanta, 2002-2006
dir. Of pro personnel in KC, 2006-2012
I want an all around gm that did it all!!
thoughts, contradictions?

last year was his first year running the draft. And even if you are a pro scout, you are still in the war room.

So you want to interview the likes of Jeff Ireland.... most gms who did it all and had final say are avaliable because they were fired.

Ross seems to want an up and comer

After Ireland I cannot believe how picky people are.

He doesn't scout college players, that's a problem IMO

Won't matter if he is a package deal with Xanders. That is our best hope.

So, you have no questions about the others? Huh, you must know more than me.

My thoughts on taking our time on GM selection

I am not completely sold onany of the candidates; none of them have accomplished anything and will come asa question mark evaluating players. On the other hand, there is not many greattalent evaluators, JJ was one of them and we had a great group of playersduring his tenure; even Belichick is not a great talent evaluator, he is agreat coach and Brady helps a lot. Toidentify a good evaluator, I think is about consistency, because any one canpick a good one once in a while.Thatis why is so important to have the best in this position, bringing talent canbe the most important job on any team. I am glad we are taking our time andbeing patient; at least I want to see to pick one after a deep analysis andwait for any good prospect if required; we need the best franchise builder. My thoughts.

I never said "anyone but Ireland" Daytona, maybe you thought that, and that's stupid thinking like that
