We Won!

That's great, seriously, but what the fuh?

I know we made the Panthers one dimensional with Steve Smith, and that's what you want to do, but 11 receptions for 170+ yards and 3 touchdowns should win you the game.

Coles had a decent game last week as well.

Is anybody worried about fast receivers that will come before this team this year? I mean, like me.

It doesn't seem like we have the necessary speed in the secondary to deal with that, unless the "one dimensional" thing was our goal.

I don't know, I was at the game and for a large part of it Steve Smith just made my stomach hurt like so bad.

We've always had the MO of not being able to stop fast receivers & big bruising backs. We held Davis in check today but Smith ran wild.

yeah I figured he would have a big day but DAMN!!!!! Those crossing routes with those fast guys are whats killing us!! We havent been getting beat deep like I was afraid of, but we have problems with little fast guys.

But never fear Smith is the best WR we will face until Randy Moss.

Press with double coverage is the answer to that problem plus you never let them isolate Howard in the slot.....man he sucks

Yeah fast recievers always seem to give us problems. With Wanny it was a problem because we use to go press coverage one on one so a fast reciever would have an easier time beating a corner. Madison and Surtain always seem to be physical with WR's but fast ones always seem to give those two problems.
