I was wondering who you guys think which athletes are the 'best of' in certain attributes? (fins and entire NFL). I'll go first:

Dolphins
fastest: Chris Chambers?
strongest (i know there are many ways to determine strength but i just mean overall): Larry Chester, Keith Traylor or maybe Vernon Carey?
smartest: Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor
most overall physical freak: David Boston


NFL
fastest: Bethol Johnson or Jerome Mathis
strongest: John Henderson
smartest: Peyton Manning
most overall physical freak: Micheal Vick or Julius Peppers
 
Was it Monday Night Football that had ZT on for questions and ZT was not made out to look smart. They say the smartest guys are usually the O-line guys

I think your choices for smartest are biased, maybe Zach and JT are just good. Jerry Rice is smart, the guy knows every way to play a defense.
 
most overall physical freak in the NFL would have to be Matt Jones. Vick shouldn't even be considered here because there are many NFL players who have similar physical attributes, Ron just gets more exposure since he plays QB.
 
did you actually just say that Seth might be the strongest? From all the camp reports I've read as well as watching him struggle last season he only looks about as strong as a sidewalk.

Imagine what sort of hissy fit you would have thrown if I had answered for you by putting Boston in everywhere.
 
By smartest, do we mean football smarts or IQ? I think Thomas and Taylor do well in the first, but guys like Ricky Williams and Jay Fiedler (I know he's gone) would be the guys to look at for the second. If I remember right, Ricky had an amazingly high Wonderlic score.

He has two lists.

He has Zach and Jason as the smartest Dolphins.

He has Peyton as his smartest in the NFL.
