The Spike Game...4 TD's to Ingram, and then the Jets still had a chance to win, we were rushing just 3 and still sacking Boomer. Trace Armstrong was a beast that day. Marino and the fake spike, I think it was, insanely enough, Bernie Kosar's idea...I think I remember reading that. Oh well, what a game. 2nd best was breaking that streak of 8 straight losses...and Ricky running wild. Wonderful game as well. 3rd best was Nat Moore's Helicoptor game...oh and the Choke game...wonderful games as well.

Mine is the December 2008 game. Remember when Chad Pennington was cut by NY, and then signed with us? And do you remember how he went back to NY on the last game of the year, and tore their defense up for 4 TD's and 350 yards?

Man, that was a hell of a game. Oh, and we knocked the Jets and Patriots out of the Playoffs in that same game.

I'll never forget it. Aaahhh, the good ol' days!

;)

09/21/86, I was a senior in HS. The Dolphin's lost to the Jests 45 to 51 in OT.

It was Marino vs O'Brien. I think they each had over 400 yards passing. It was probably the biggest shoot out I'd seen & probably one of the most exciting games except for those two AFC championship games where Kosar's Browns were beaten by those damn Broncos. :shakeno:

Probably the Fake Spike. Just simply a phenomenal play call to break the Jets' hearts of coal.

Either that or the game in 2002 where we broke their winning streak over us. Ricky had a huge day, Gadsden made that unbelievable catch, and we ended up winning 30-3.

Any win over the Jets is a good one.

please lets keep the losses out of here. i know it was a great game but its just bad mojo.

It's easy to say the Monday Night Miracle but 2 others come to mind.

1991 season fianle at Miami. It was basically a playoff game as the winner made it and the loser didn't. It was a back and forth affair as Miami scored w/ about 45 secs to play to take a 20-17 lead but Ken O'Brien got us into FG range and newly signed Raul Allegre nailed the tying FG at the end of regulation and the winner in OT to send us to the playoffs.

1998 at Miami Sunday Night. It was a battle for 1st place and the the 2 teams played a great 3 qtrs but in the 4th it was turnover after turnover w/ the game sealing TO coming on Marino strip and fumble recovery by Chad Cascadden who returnd it for a TD to win that showdown.

Honorable mention: 1981 16-15 Jets win at Shea, 51-45 shootout in '86, 2001 17 pt comeback.

gotta love these victories

Toss up between the fake spike game which I was there or the Mud Bowl afc champ game. Both were great victory's.

Like NyJunc said its very easy to say Monday Night Miracle but thats not it for me.

1. Christmas Night 2006- 13-10 Jets win that propelled them into the playoffs. Leon Washington!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Monday Night Football 2004- The Jets won 41-14. It was just a good strong win.

Definitely the fake spike game for me too, was a sophmore in high school, i remember the week leading up to that game felt like a super bowl. And the fake spike was definitely bernie kosar's call, ironically i was just watching an interview with him on youtube a few weeks ago (which i cant find anymore) and he talked about that play. The interview was about how kosar had to use his brain and his smarts to be a successful qb since he was so unathletic, and he said the fake spike was something he thought of when he was with the browns but never used it. Im glad he saved it for danny boy!

Mine would be the `82 AFC Championship game followed by the fake spike game and the `86 shootout between Marino and O`Brien. Another one that I`ll always remember was Week 1 of the `95 season when we thrashed the Jets 52-14. I watched that one in a bar at the MGM Grand and then went to the Sports Book at the Las Vegas Hilton and collected my $250 when it was over.

oh those 80s

1. The fake spike. I was the happiest 10 year old in the world that day.

2. Ricky running all over them in 2002 to end that disgusting streak.

3. Last game of the season in 2003. I was at the game and talked mad **** to a couple of green haired Jets idiots and I took a stupid sign they brought and smacked them on the head with it. I'm like 3 or 4-0 lifetime when I go to a Dolphins Jets game so I probably should go more often. Anybody wanna make a donation to send me to those games next year? :D
