They arn't lieing... he always get the yardage needed in 3rd and short, 4th and short. He is essential to our team.

It's amazing how we thought we had a couple of good FB's during the preseason, let them go and picked up 2 guys on waivers who have filled in quite
admirably. I think we have this position sured up for next year, one less position to worry about.

He's been amazing for us.. I loved when he changed it up a little on one of the one yarders by jumping for it

the second he doesn't pick up the first on a 3rd and short, everyone on this board will hate him.

As long as he is consistent and reliable I think everyone will love him just fine.

Like the blogger said, constantly churning the bottom of the roster is standard procedure with our FO, and apparently they know where to look when panning for gold. Great pick-up to set us up for a few years hopefully.

Actually I wouldnt call it filling in

I think he’s the best full back we have had since LC (and he was a fullback in name only) the sad part about that statement is I am basing that on a handful of plays that has occurred in crucial situations and he still better than anyone we have had including konrad.

When you see a team year after year turning over the roster from both drafts and free agents you begin too wonder if the powers that be in controll of the team really know a player when they see one. Up till now Miami was like that. But BP and Sparano have put in place scouts and coaches who know what too look for. I can't say how pleased I am that Polite has worked out and given us the power short yardage when we really need it. When its 4th and short in the other guys side of the field you need too have the confidence too go for it. I always felt like on 4th and inches if you can't get that you don't desrerve the win. Polite also seems too have good hands and is an armload coming out short.

I think that Ronnie is a good decoy in the whole thing!!! sooner or later we have to give it to 23 in order to keep everyone honest!!!!

are you forgetting aboit Keith Byars? Yes Larry Z was the best but I'd still take Byars over Polite.now even before Byars there was 1 year when we had Pete Johnson(who used to play for the bengals before that)and he got us a lot of 1st down plus a few TD's near the goal line....for the young guys here,he was a real big guys, maybe 260 or so plus I think he was 6"6 tho I could be wrong abd it was around 87 or so....later on we had Tony Paige who also was pretty good at blocking and catching passes too.

Ozzy rules!!
