FBGP's 2015 NFL Draft WR Rankings by Position: X, Z, Slot, Inside & U

Thanks Guys! Smelter looked very good down at the E/W Shrine Game inside…he doesn't have the frame to add weight to move to TE (narrow hips), and not overly explosive or sudden to sustain success on the outside IMO

I don't know about that...he seems to eat up cushion in a hurry on the outside and I don't see the short area quickness\COD to be effective in the slot. He's a project either way.

I think his quickness is solid, but I agree that he's best on the perimeter. Best RAC WR in the draft, and he uses his body well.

Thanks Emory,

Of your lesser known X guys, Tre McBride really interests me. Great mix of size, speed and body control. Good blocker, seems to be aware and smart with coverage. Short arms and small hands for his size, but has the height and timing to really go up and get it. Has return value He would tempt me for the Fins if we didn't go WR early. BTW, he's 6'1" and 200 lbs, not 5'11" and 180.

Antwan Goodley is one of those guys you look at and think - I have to find a role for this guy on my team. He's not conventional as a receiver, but he measured virtually identically to Justin Hardy in size, just with 20 extra pounds of ballast. Doesn't slow him down much either. He's a guy who will be a value pickup for somebody - his stock deserves to be higher on his consistent production and physicality.

Agree with the others that Smelter is a guy not getting enough kudos. I've been on him for a while. The ACL could really hurt his stock and his game though. A big guy like him wouldn't want to lose any lateral agility.

Justin Hardy and Tre McBride are definitely guys I have liked a lot while watching films.
