They ranked the QB's on ESPN radio this morning and Feeley was ranked as a one star QB along with Grossman, Rattay, Mcnown, and Boller.

The names mentioned sound about even with AJ right now. He only has 1 half of work, and has plenty to prove.

what has he done to prove otherwise?
Right on, one star is almost generous at this stage of the game.....

ESPN gave him one star, I'm surprised they gave him anything at all.

Much as I hate to say it, your **** defense could make him look like a 4 star field general. Don't get ahead of yourself..

Now they're rating QB's with stars? It makes it seem like a dang movie review...I can't wait until next week when we'll hear "Ebert & Roeper give A.J. Feeley 2 thumbs up!"

Thank you.....I'm sure that was hard for you but, it saved me some typing. :D

These guys are just trying to find something to talk about.

Let's re-visit the question mid-season when we get a chance to guage his performance / career on something longer than 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, if their system is consistent, Drew Bledsoe should also be rated a one star QB - he threw 11 TD's and 12 INT's last year.

And David Carr - 0 TD's this year, 2 INT's. Last year, 9 TD's and 13 INT's.
How about Mark Bulger's year last year - 22 TD's last year, 22 INT's.

Let's include Jake Plummer - why don' t they look at his stats? So far he's thrown two TD's and 2 INT's.
Year Team G GS Att Comp Pct Yards YPA Lg TD Int Rate
1997 Arizona Cardinals 10 9 296 157 53.0 2203 7.44 70 15 15 73.1
1998 Arizona Cardinals 16 16 547 324 59.2 3737 6.83 57 17 20 75.0
1999 Arizona Cardinals 12 11 381 201 52.8 2111 5.54 63 9 24 50.8
2000 Arizona Cardinals 14 14 475 270 56.8 2946 6.20 70 13 21 66.0
2001 Arizona Cardinals 16 16 525 304 57.9 3653 6.96 68 18 14 79.6
2002 Arizona Cardinals 16 16 530 284 53.6 2972 5.61 80 18 20 65.7
2003 Denver Broncos 11 11 302 189 62.6 2182 7.23 60 15 7 91.2
2004 Denver Broncos 1 1 29 18 62.1 230 7.93 58 2 2 81.1

It's still too early to judge a guy, especially after only one game and minimal practice.

No problem. Besides, talk like that is reserved for Jets, Pats, and Bills fans :D

It says alot about your own defense when a first time NFL starter like Palmer is driving to tie the game in the 4th quarter. Trust me, that last INT will not happen again. So enjoy your win Jetfan, its gonna be a long year with that secondary.

As for Feeley, he hasnt shown me anything.

Kinda like your defense. For that matter your whole team the last 14 years. talking about potential on one hand and then say someone hasnt SHOWN you yet is hypocritical. Bengals look much better, but they havent SHOWN sh*t yet, so keep talkin, it must be nice after a decade to finally show your face in public again.

It's just stupid to rate a guy that hasn't started a game yet. What data are they baseing this on? Maybe we should talk about him in a month. I bet he's a three star Q.B. by then. He's got to get the ball to Chambers and Booker this week and he has to be allowed to go downfield to loosen up the D.
