feeley frerotte battle

Nice Read.im pulling for feeley on this battle, but if Frerotte wins oh well, but Feeley seems to be adjusting to the O quite nicely now he just needs to learn how to read the coverages a bit better and not sit back

I'm so caught in between on these guys, but if i had to make a achoice it'd be frerrotte. I just want the guy whose honestly not going to make a mistake. He doesn't have to win the game with our running game, and our defense. he just has to ge the ball to chambers and mcmicheal in the right spots. if its not open just let the play go. and move on. I think frerrotte can handle that better then feeley.

I don't give a **** who comes out of the battle in front, because I'm confident that Saban will make the decision that is best for the team. That said, I THINK that the decision will end up being Feeley, because I liked some of what I saw towards the end of last year, unlike most.

I wish ferrote wasn't 34, I mean really my only complaint against him is his age. It is obvious that if we go with him, it is only a stop gap solution. That is why I am pulling for feeley, at least with him, we have a chance for something special, that would last longer than 2 years. I am holding out hope for the future, not just the present.

I'm just wondering who will get the nod to start Monday. I think it should be AJ cause he hasn't lost the job yet and it was his at the end of last year.

I said it before I'll say it again. While everyone focuses so up close on who is winning in the QB race, you stand in danger of missing out on the fact that no matter who stats, Miami's offense is looking dangerous again. More and more deep balls are being completed evey day. That is an EXCELLENT sign.

Dont know if this matters or not...but Frerrote not pulling away even though he knows this offense much better...tells me that Feeley is really improving. If he continues to improve the way we are all reading about...then the most logical choice is to continue with Feeley..based purely on upside.

It's gonna be enjoyable to see that on Sundays, but that feeling could be extended if AJ wins the job and becomes a decent QB. Frerotte isn't likely to be around five years from now unless he plays amazing, but AJ is young and I'd like to see him develop into a good passer.

What worries me about AJ is that he continues locking on receivers and showing no touch. QBs who do that get eaten up by defenses. People seem to think that those are easy fixes. They aren't. It's not just a matter of learning the offense.

You keep saying that but, no one is missing your point.I agree it is an excellent sign, and every day there seems to be improvement from both players, which is friggin' great but, I still am intersted in who is going to win the job.

It's nice having confidence in both though. :)

Completely different people in charge. Doesnt really matter who had what job at the end of last year, because those positions were given out by the previous administration.

Thats what I 'm thinking, because some said that Gus would run away with this battle. I'm definitley pulling for AJ.
