Feeley+Gordon+Thompson for some qb's

How about this trade for somebody's 2nd string qb who could come in and play better than what we have until we can get a qb next year?
I know is late, but lets face it...we are desperate for at least a mediocre qb.
F and F have showned that they are not even mediocre starting quality qb's.
With F and F, and without Ricky, what are our chances during the first 4 games of the season. I say bring somebody in and have them learn the system and by week 5 (when Ricky returns) they should be able to start for us.
Saban is all about who gives us the best chance to win..Well, unless he lets Sage shows us what he can do with the first team, what we have is simply not good enough!

Do you all not recall why we are in this position in the first place!? Ride the season out and get our QB next year.

You make it seem so simple. Almost like we are going to get a franchise QB to just fall on our laps.

We need to do something NOW and experiment now. This season is a wash might as well tinker with some new players while we have the time.
 
so you want to take 3 backup players, trade them to a team for their backup QB, who has NO knowlege of the fins offense. and then start him, over Gus and AJ. are you crazy?!?

there are good backup QBs in the NFL, but your stuck with what you have now. and if you want a real starting QB, your gunna have to give up more than 3 backups. hell, you cant even do that in the new madden game. :lol:

Ok.. brilliant idea.. Lets just give up our entire draft next season for 5 backup QBs in hopes of one turning out ok.. :rolleyes:

Obviously, if we experiment with QBs now then the season won't be a successful one, wouldn't you agree? So, therefore, a high draft pick will be there for the taking. What is the difference between that and letting tweedle dee or tweedle dumb lead us to 4 wins this season? I'll tell you what that difference is - there is that off-chance that one of the new QBs we pick up becomes the guy we need. Because the one we need is not on the roster at this point.

Relying on the draft alone with no clear cut franchise QB comming out of college is pretty short sighted in my opinion. :cool:

No Im not crazy... Im just a frustated Dolphins fan who has gone to several practices, has watched all 5 preseason games and has realized that we need a QB. Saban wants to win now, and he wants to upgrade every position. So why not do it now? Maybe bring in Couch...or give Sage a chance, but something has got to get done. Im all for bringing in a qb next year. But how long would it take for this new qb to learn the system and be good? There are no guaranties!
I've seen enough of Feeley and Frerotte to know that neither is the answer.

IN NO WAY DO I WANT TO TRADE FOR ANY BACKUPS!

unless the trade involves AJ Feeley or Lamar Gordon. :)
