feeley played well tonight not that gus didn't he just looked like a care taker out there just iffy he had a wide open d.boston for a td and he missed him.he seems to have trouble with the long ball and aj hits the long balls in stride tonight was a good test against a good buc defence and aj looked the better of the two.aj deserves to start just give the kid some time we gave fiedler 4 years for god sakes. :)

Feeley came in and played the "scrubs" late in the 3rd. I don't think it is fair to measure AJ's performance to Gus's.

i agree aj should start next week gus wasnt horrible and if the season started 2morow i would start gus but aj did do a good job and at least the ints have been minimal so far

I think we can judge Gus compared to any legitimate starter, who in fact, does play against first stringers, and its safe to say that Gus is not cutting it. (9 for 25 hahahaha) There is no advantage to having Gus starting at all, because he is doing horrible. Let AJ get in there, and I'm sure he will make some mistakes. For Pete's sake (Pete is a nice guy), let him stay in and learn and get comfortable. He'll make mistakes, but thats what happens to younger QB's. Gus is a veteran who has reached a certain point, whereas AJ is outplaying him and has yet to reach his peak.

I don't know... Gus missed a couple that were just horrible. And that INT. He should have just ran it out of bounds... Poor decision on that one. Boston was WIDE OPEN... That should have been 7...

Saban - what to do, what to do...

:shakeno: The guskateers just dont give up do they? Admit it, AJ did better, bottom line. AJ deserves the start.

Since when do the Bucs have a good defense??

They were ranked 6 last year allowing 284 Yds/G according to NFL.com.

I think today we see the difference between the David Koresh type of Guskateers and the others who simply chose the wrong horse to ride. The David koreshers simply refuse to give AJ his props. ITS NOT EVEN THAT HE LOOKED BETTER THAN gUS, iTS THAT HE ACTUALLY LOOKED GOOD. Throwing to Farmer? A running game of Morris? Compared to Chambers and Williams you really got to hand it to Feeley tonight.

Guskateers...cute :D. But in all honesty I have NO loyalties to either of these QB's. Just stating my opinion of what I watched tonight. Hell, if I was to be a part of any club it would be the bring Ole' Big Ears Back club. :rofl3:

PS. and if what AJ did tonight means he deserves to start then give Sage and Brock the same shot because over the last few weeks they looked just as good as Feeley did tonight. I really wish we could have seen them take a few snaps tonight.

Of course, nothing better than AJ feeley throwing 8-14 for 90.....and how many YAC were there? AJ does not deserve a start....it doesn't mean crap if he can score on a third string, but only once.....AJ is not a starter, he is a career backup....

Let him show the same command next week as a starter and I might start coming around... BTW I don't think Gus is the answer either.

Once again, Has Gus done anything to warrent the job himself? So far there are two things to consider, your own opinion and the Stats. If you go with your opinion, fine, we can't convince you to change that, but if you go by the stats, Gus has done nothing but complete less than 50% of his passes, and has all ove one touchdown. (which he admitted was a fluke)

Gus Has done nothing to keep the job, and AJ has done everything in his power to get it back.

No, AJ has made 2 yd passes tailored to his throwing and the receivers have has a nice YAC avg. Do not make AJ look like hie is doing much, they are calling totally different plays for the 2. More conservitive for AJ, more risk for Gus. So who do they trust more????
