Seeing Sean Salisbury critique any QB is disgusting.

Good article this is how I feel about the whole situation is he is a great talent that needs to learn on the field with a decent o-line, he has the ability if given a fair opportunity with quality players around him!

Yeah, I can't remember exactly what Marino said about him 1 year, but it was pretty funny.

That's an excellent article, and it was spot on about Feeley. He has great physical tools but hasn't progressed mentally. And both Konrad and Trestman mentioned that he should not really be judged by last year, hwich is true. Unfortunately he didn't do enough this year to win the job, although there is no doubt it was slanted all along he had a chance and didn't run with it.

Well you'd have to say that Salisbury knows how to play the position poorly, you have to give him that. He wouldnt know what makes someone good at the Qb position but he is qualified to tell how bad someone is, he only has to look at his own performances.
I think its funny when they have him and Clayton go at it on sportscenter, Clayton always makes fun of his career, the guy was a joke. He and mark malone are probaly the most qualified exQbs to talk about poor play.

It goes to show how ridiculous the analysis of Feeley is on this board. It also proves he'll be snatched up in a minute if we're dumb enough to release him. If Saban isn't going to play him he better get a decent draft pick for him.

No mystery here buddy. He said himself he liked the backup role better,he's not a starter,He's anothe "oops my bad"....

I'm not positive on this but I believe it was something like "he couldn't throw a rock in the ocean if he was standing on the beach." I think the article is right on, Aj has the physical ability, but he does not have the metnal ability IMO. I don't believe he'll ever be a good starting Qb in the league, and he won't get another shot with the Phins, IMO. For a good starting Qb, I think the mental part of the game is just as important than a Qb's physical ability. Tom Brady is not the most gifted NFL Qb, but he's one of the smartest Qb's in the history of the league, and is already considered one of the best QB's all time. The best thing that could've happened for AJ would've been going to NFL Europe, and getting experience, because no team is gonna give him as good of an opportunity as the Phins gave him. The garbage that he didn't get a fair opportunity is not accurate at all IMO, Linehan brought his guy in from Minnesota, and obviously he was gonna start right? I don't agree with that, and I don't think Saban would allow a coach under him to make a decision, which wasn't best for the franchise. If Saban thought Aj could be the starter for this team, I think he would be, but he's #3 on the depth chart, and unless someone gets hurt, I expect him to stay there.

Feeley has said he likes being a back up??? I don't believe that for a second.

In the Dolphins' locker room, some question Feeley's toughness. In almost every game, he is limping or grimacing in pain in full view of TV cameras and opponents.

"There's a lot of drama involved that doesn't really go over very well in the locker room," one player said.

Ouch, that hurts. His future looks dim in Miami.

I've felt this way all along. The guy always has something wrong or is getting dinged. Then he has to make a big spectacle of it. And about that game last year in Seattle when he got slapped on the butt when it was "injured"....please  there is nothing on the buttock that would cause that much pain unless his tailbone, hip or femur was broken, and they weren't, or the Sciatic nerve was exposed. He screamed like he was being stabbed for God sake...pure drama that TV and fans ate up.

"The lack of attention to detail has really got Feeley," an AFC scout said. "That understanding of where to go with the ball, your drop, hip position, how you set your feet. It's the little things that make you a very good quarterback."

Saban indicated that those things are holding Feeley back.

This supports my thread I had about 2 weeks ago stating that I believe Feeley has a problem with his mechanics. It turned into quite a long discussion here.

lol...I remember that<when he got slapped on the backside and he started like havin a seizure...lol...
