You mentioned Marino. I also siad that a QB that has been in the league at leat 3 years shouldn't have any trouble. Marino was a rookie. Feeley has been around and knows what to expect with these NFL playbooks. He has no excuses.
What's being a rookie has to do with it. it's the same, learning the teminology according to you. Did you learn the playbook from a QB standpoint? Everyother position doesn't have to know everyone else's position assignments, just the qb, he has to know his backside protections, front side, what each reciever is doing, what the rb's are doing every play. And with all the NFL BS language makes it tough, so I don't agree with you, that's why there's learning curve the first couple of games.
