League sources estimate that Pouncey will be suspended for anywhere from one to four games. That means the Dolphins could conceivably play a quarter of their season without their best lineman and a member of their 2013 leadership council.

With the Dolphins playing the Raiders in Week 4 and Week 5 being our bye week, I could see the league doing four games so that he can rejoin the team for bye week practices.

my point was that the guy was saying it was all cold hard facts and not an opinion, not saying he didnt cover everything but at the end of the day it is an opinion.

I did believe the report to an extent because they did "bully him" but it was unknowingly, but when a guy comes out and says thats not what i meant and that it was a misinterpretation how can i read the report and say its black and white and not all just possibilities through ted wells eyes.

Perhaps the guy realized this so much of his story was put out there that anonymity was impossible and he wanted to minimize the backlash he felt he'd receive for cooperating as fully as he did.

Doubt it, he's on the panthers now where there wont be any backlash. He knew the people he referred the quotes about would know it was him.

The fact that pouncey, who is obviously a punk ass is even on the leadership council speaks volumes about the lack of leaders this team has.

I don't think it's a stretch. The locker room code about not snitching isn't only something Dolphin players talk about. I'm sure he doesn't want his new teammates thinking he's a snitch.

If Goodell was doing the right thing the suspensions and fines would be the same for all the guys involved including Martin. Martin went along with the drugs, sex and language so that makes him as guilty as all the rest. Just because he had suciidal thoughts that led him to quit the team that still makes him just as guilty through his participation in all the pranks etc. Let's face it Martin is basically a coward as the reason he left the team was because he could measure of what was expected of him on the field and with the help of his attorney mother turned the tables on this team mates as the reason he quit. If Ross has to pay this guy it's like rewarding someone for both being a traitor and a coward. A great example of a society that is not willing to do the right thing because it is afraid of perception over reality.
