The last time I posted on this forum was to express my disgust over last years draft. I remember I faught off alot of finheaven members who drank the cam cameroon kool aid, but I also had alot of support with a number of Dolphin fans who were disgusted with the fact that we may have passed up on one of our few chances at drafting our franchise QB, Brady Quinn.

Our coach picked Ted Ginn, which seemed more like a booster pick then anything else considering we "drafted his family", then tried to make up for passing on Brady Quinn by drafting the 26 year old stormin morman (who i still haven't given up on yet).

I must say it feels good to be back. The dolphins put me in a state of depression last year (that and seeing my fantasy football team lose half its roster due to injuries). I am so grateful to see that theres finally some intelligence in our front office.

We didn't take the sexy pic (chris long or gholston)

We didn't take the best player available (mcfadden)

We didn't go quarterback out of obligation (Matt Ryan)

We took the smart and safe choice (jake long)

I'm happy Ireland and Parcells removed all suspense announcing our pick a week early. I can lay down on my couch in front of the big screen not having a worry on my mind. Considering our past first round picks, I would have expected us to take best reciever available.

Not this time :woot:

Hey! There you are my old friend! Good to see you again! So, how are the wife and kids? They doing alright? Your mom get that thing with her neck fixed? Great! So, yeah, I know it's been a while since we talked, but you still owe me that $400 I paid to keep your *** out of that jail when we went to Mexico. Look, I know you're insistent that it wasn't your fault, but remember when I told you that it was a matter of principle that you pay me back after what you did to that guy's dog? Well, if you have it on you, that'd be great. Thanks, and good to see you!

Welcome back...I have to admit when I heard the Commish say "Ted Ginn," I was also kind of sick, but I think Ginn will turn out ok....maybe not a pro bowler but I think he could develop into a solid #2.

True. In all honesty I think Cam and Randy would have chosen Jake Long as well. Im just sayin!

Feels good to be a Dolphin fan again. I've had several Fin haters confess that given our situation Jake Long was a solid pick.

I'm impressed with Jeff Ireland. To use a draft term, he has a lot of upside.
