Well all of this are on phinsider...

Fasano is going to run away for the money...good riddence you blew besides last year.
and Ronnie Brown said JT and Porter were asked to do too much leading/leadership roles and it wore them down and that the offense was the main prblem as far as leadership and energy.

Said that the team lacked the passion and desire they had last year.

Fergie also said a couple days ago he expects a lot of ppl gone.

some came from Miami Blog as well.
 
You had me... I thought you meant the celeb Fergie. I was about to fall out of my chair, what a circus!

Still, a lot of people SHOULD go. This team is no where close to being a Super Bowl contender.

That's what I thought too! lol Wasn't sure what to make of it.
 
Fasano is going nowhere and he can't run to any more elsewhere. He will be a RFA, so not team can just come in and sign him without giving us compensation.
 
That report seems pretty accurate from here, and I don't care if a lot of people go because they should. Fasano I'm especially disappointed in because he was my dark horse candidate at the beginning of the season for most improved player. Whoops.

A lot of these guys are clogging up the path to team improvement IMO and somebody needs to get the Draino. We have some promising young players at QB, OL, DL, and CB to build with and it's time to get them some help. I would not at all be disappointed if the roster turnover was as high as the past two offseasons. Stop-gap players when we were trying to reverse 1-15 are no longer required. We need self-motivated warriors that want to be part of a 12-4 team that wins playoff games.

when it is official that there will be no CBA then come say that cuz until then anything can happen dude.

is this why Sparano won't commit to Henne?

Henne is cool and in command but when it comes to fire anybody is gonna have a hard time matching Penny

I don't think I blame a guy who is starting for the first time for not thinking "this is my team". Henne will have to have that attitude next year
 
Fasano said he hopes the CBA is signed so he can cash in bc he is a "businessman now" as he said
 
It seems like this offseason is going to be the main one where we get rid of the stop gap players that were brought here to hold us in place while getting rid of the horrible players, and replace them with young guys who fit the system.

That is exactly how I see it as well.
Akin was a stop gap...he is gone.
Anderson was a stop gap...he is gone.
Porter gone...
Fasano was a stop gap wiht a chance to get a new contract, blew his chance...

We can now replace all those with top talent b/c we have the main areas penciled in...

LT, LG, C, RG, RT, LE, RE, CB, SS, QB, FB, etc.
 
Fasano disappeared in alot of games in 08 and was very consistent in that regard in 09. Let him walk for a 5th? I would.
 
I say let Fasano and the rotten apples rot smewhere else.

one bad apple can sure spoil the whole show.
chemsitry must have been bad and i really have to question this pathetic offense beacuse our defense sure seemed to be on the field alot longer then they should have been.
 
There will be no agreement so Fasano will be an RFA. He is going nowhere. But it's time to cut loose the stop gaps they brought in 2008. This is why draft picks are so important.
