Does he all of a sudden look like Joe Montana or what? I know this has been said a dozen times but I gotta weigh in as well. I've never been a huge Fiedler fan nor a basher. I was excited when we signed him, then disappointed in his first year. Last year, I thought he was avg in the first half but really started to play well down the stretch. This season, I thought he was playing great and now it's painfully obvious how much we need him.

If Fiedler didn't want to win so much, I would think he secretly is glad Lucas is flopping. It's sad that's the only way he got his due.
But nobody said following a legend would be easy. When Fiedler comes back, rain or shine, let's give him his proper respect.

watching Gannon makes me hopeful of what c/b if Jay can stay on the field next to Ricky

Absolutely! I still have high hopes for this year. The two teams in the AFC that scare me the most are Denver and Pitt. We can beat them both. However, say we fold this year. I'm optimistic that our future is bright with Fiedler, Williams, Chambers, McMicheal, Nails, Wade, and Konrad. That's one hell of an offensive nucleous. Upgrade the line via the draft and FA and it's a juggernaut. Our defense only needs minor tinkering and we should remain a contender for the next few years and then we will have to rebuild our defense. Our O has a bright future though.

Compared to Ray Lucas he does... I guess all those a$$holes who were booing him at that Miami Heat game are getting what they wanted.

AMEN

Hell next to Ray Lucas I would look like a Pro Bowler. With Ray we have seen how much worse it can get than Jay. I think the "anti-Jay" fan asks the other question. How much better does it get than Jay?

If we had a top 5 in the league QB to go with Ricky and Chambers what would it be like?

I am okay With Feidler. He is good and wins. But there is a step above him. Some fans long for that extra weapon. I understand it, but I don't understand booing and being down on Jay. He is good.

I kinda hope Jay comes back on a home game, and comes out with one of the biggest standing ovations in Dolphins history. For all the **** he's been through, he deserves it.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves...if he comes in and struggles cuz his finger isnt the same then we are in big trouble....we are looking at him like a savior to some more wins, but we really dont know how he will perform.
