Im not sure if 13isgr81 was posting in reference to this article but frankly this is worrying me.

If Sage is all we have left I think we should ditch Griese and pull Neil O'Donnell outta free agency. I do think Sage should have his shot, but we definetly need some depth. Maybe Sage will be our Bulger. haha.

I dunno what the problem is, when at the homepage click on the "Hurting QB's: Dolphins Fiedler, Bronco's Buerlein" link.

Ummm,

Sage isn't all we have left.
That's why we brought in Brian Griese...... to BE THE BACKUP QB

So now your saying that the team should let go the backup QB they chose, go after another backup that hasn't had anytime to study the offense and put him at the helm if Jay has to miss any time........

If you are huge Feidler fan or not you have to hope Greise comes in and is our Tom Brady. This offense is in serious need of a shot in the arm, and even though I wouldn't bet on the fact that the shot in the arm wears #14 I have to dream. If our offense doesn't start to score we will see a major overhaul in South Florida this offseason.

There will be a major upheaval anyway I believe. Norv is likely gone. Between 1-3 of our QBs will be gone. And that's just the start of it.

You want Fiedler's status?

He sucks..That's his status..

Ok......and Griese is better? No. Fiedler is not that bad, he has made some bad decisions, but what NFL QB hasn't? I am comfortable with Fiedler, I just think we need more aggresive recievers. I would really worry if Fiedler was out. Going back to what I said about aggresive recievers, if Chambers was willing to go for the ball we would be in a whole different position with our passing game. It seems to me that the only problem with Thompson is that we don't throw it to him.

I think the Fins should wait for Fiedler to FULLY heal, which means bringing in Griese. Plus, can't hurt to try, we have a defense that has already covered for offensive lackings. Gotta make sure the Dolphin's money is well spent and it'll be nice to see another Griese at the helm of a Miami offense.

Why do you think Norv will be gone. I doubt he is a likely candidate for HEadcoach anywhere at this point.

Yeah, thank god you're not coach. When would he learn the offense? :o

What I meant by that is Sage would start, he knows the offense. If by some chance he goes down we need a healthy QB, which Griese isn't. He (Griese) barely knows the offense anyway, its better to at least have someone healthy in. Now I know Lucas was healthy, but i'm damn sure O'Donnell wouldn't lapse like he did.

Lucas messed up in one game badly last season. One bad game.

Take that out he had a damn good time QBing us. Went over 90 passer rating four times, the Green Bay was crap by the whole team pretty much.
