Just curiuos to get some info on this college kicker, im not sure what his name is or school but i believe it MIGHT have been colorado or something? suppose to have one hell of a leg? if anyone can point out who it is, i'd appreciate it. i saw a shot of him on espn kicking a 56 yrder or somethign. anyways point being, if neone knows who it is, what rd would he go in and if so maybe a later rd do u guys see miami pickin him up and letting go of mare? dont bash me, just a question in mind.

i'm all for letting mare go, save money and free up #10 for Brady Quinn

there we go! what is the info on him? looks insane.

we could wait 2 years and draft or get south dakota states kicker hes a sophomore and almost made a 65 yder missed it by a ft short he is a hell of a kicker and is already being compared to adam venitari.... im a student and sdsu and get to see him every game i think he has the leg to be an nfl kicker so its just waiting 2 yrs for him

in some of the mock drafts that i've seen only one or two kickers have been projected to go in the entire draft. I believe this Colorado kicker was a finalist for the Groza award but i didn't see much of the college awards when they had it a few days back. I dont know if i want to replace Mare though, he has had a pretty good year this year and still is a reliable kicker when healthy.

If you're kicking at more than a mile above sea level, you ought to be able to kick 5-7 from 50+.

Yeah but that's still impressive for a college kicker, when most college kickers struggle with kicks over 40 no matter where they play.

a thread about kicker prospects... when we have one of the league's best FG/Kickoff men in the league... cool...

HAD one of teh best. he is gettin paid TOOO MUCH to be INCONSISTENT i love the man but if we can get someoen to equal his talent and get paid less, ill take ti.

well, let's see... clutch field goal, kickoff five yards deep in the end zone, then recovers the fumble FAR downfield at the opponents 25...

yeah, let's dump him .... :goof:

how about now, do you want to let him go now?? DIDNT THINK SO

As a CU alum I can tell you there is NOBODY in college or the NFL with a stronger leg than this guy. Yes, he does kick a lot of them at elevation but he has also hit 58 yarders at sea level......he flat out can boom them and makes 40 yarders look like extra points. I think if Mason Crosby is available I would risk a 2nd rounder on him. Olindo had a fantastic game today.....and also recovered a big fumble on a kickoff but Crosby is gonna be a game changer.
