Final 4 are released?

Yep it's the same as what Mort was saying on 790 yesterday. Cameron, Tomlin and the two Schottenheimer's most likely.

I like this plan.

It looks to me like they are going to make Brian Schottenheimer the HC and make Capers an assistant head coach.

All they need now is a very capable GM. Dont know if Mueller is the guy.

The article also mentions Chan Gailey as a finalist. I like Cameron the best.

Argh.. Gailey could actually be a front runner as well seeing as they hired Capers. Perhaps Gailey doesn't want to be announced yet as HC until recruiting is finished for GT :boohoo:

Gailey would be a much better choice than Cam Cameron. At least Gailey has a winning record as both an NFL coach and a college coach.

Did Chan work w/ Mularkey in Pitt? We could have a re-union.

Yes. Mike Mularkey was the TE's coach in Pittsburgh when Chan was the offensive coordinator.

Chan also coached Jason Garrett when he played for Dallas. Chan also coached with Hudson Houck when the two were in Dallas. Chan has also coached with Mel Phillips in Miami.

How is anyone getting Marty Schottenheimer out of that? Read the article....

Cam Cameron, Mike Tomlin, BRIAN SCHOTTENHEIMER, and Chan Gailey.

If the Chargers win tomorrow, I think it all but rules out Cam Cameron. I'd love to see Chan Gailey here.

GT is a step up from Indiana. I don't think you can judge them both on that.

:barf:That would be absolutely horrible news if that should happen. Please dear God, don't hire Gailey as our HC. PLEASE SAY NO TO CHAN.
