Props to Bess for 2 HUGE catches, A HUGE run by Ricky and last but not least the coaching staff for not calling Ginns # on that final drive...

I was thinking the exact same thing. My mantra through this all is that every time you give a chance to Ginn, that's a chance that another player could have had. And while even Ginn could eventually come down with a big catch somewhere, it's time to get the ball to receivers who haven't choked multiple times with the game on the line. Besides, we've got a couple WR's whose one merit is that they can catch practically everything. It defies logic just how much this team has thought it needed to force the big play on the final drive when all you have to do is move the chains and stop the clock at appropriate times.

im glad to see a QB who can do that again, Penny would of never of been able to pull that off, just like in the MNF jets win, Henne has the stuff!

I was happy with the way Henne played that final drive, but the honest truth is that Pennington would have been much more efficient with the ball and we would have probably never been in that situation to being with. Henne hasn't really been that consistent, and while he deserves credit for a good game winning drive today and an outstanding game against the Jets, he is still not out there making the plays to move the chains when sometimes that is really what we need to seal games out in the second half.

Henne deserves props for the drive, but still, his command of the offense is nowhere near what Pennington's was, and it becomes readily apparent to me in these games where Henne can barely complete 50 percent of his passes and in doing so lets the other team hang in the game. I'm not trying to say that we shouldn't be happy for what Henne did, but I think that suggesting we would not have won a game like this with Pennington at the helm is fallacy.

Henne is being thrown in a rough situation and handling it well.
He was a starter for 4 years in college never rotating.
one series he was not in for 1st or 2nd down got thrown in a 3rd and 15 and converted.
That int still puzzles me but for the most part he has played damn good

Yes

Henne Is Still Learning I Think He Has A Better Upside Than Penny, But Im Happy With Henne, bess, camarillo, Hartline, Sperry, But Do You Guys Think We Should Make A Play For Larry Johnson Since Brown Is Hurt?
