Congrats to Fishfan, Bumpus and Shifty for making it to the Final 4. Awesome guys and all deserving of this achievement. I couldn't ask to be pitted up against a better guy than Fishfan. He has always been a favorite of mine and a Dolphin brother. Though I hate to face off against him, it should be an entertaining matchup. Again thanks to all the finfans that voted for me and may the best man win. :brewskis:
 
I'll get it started but first a few comments and a little history.

It's very liberating to make it to the final four. That's a major accomplishment for any member and if this should be my last battle I'm good.
This years battle was a little unusual with the field cut to 32. Special thanks to WildBill , Vaark and Finatic who along with Bump were all in last years heated final four battles. These vets decided to take a break and let some of the lesser know guys have a go at it. Undoubtedly the reason I make it this far.
Last year was the first time i ever participated either as a contestant or even as a voter. I believe it was my opponents first battle as well. I got a PM that i had been nominated as a wildcard by JCane who along with Gonzo and Nubs were my favorite posters at that time.
Well this member named DaytonaFin (who i only knew of because of the lovely ladies he displayed in his sig ) and I went at it big time in what Vaark would call one of the best battles of the whole event.
20 pages later it was pretty much tied up. I went to bed behind and woke up winning by one vote. Bump roughed me up pretty good in the next round but because of our heated battle Daytona and myself as well as Bump and the blue guy have all become friends. I have been much more active and now really feel a part of this site.

Speaking of our battle last year Daytona did not take the lose well

I think we've all been wondering how Daytona has out of no where become one of the top news posters here.
He's is even beating Nubs to the post on almost all new Dolphin news.
I decided to have have my crack investigative team get to the bottom of this turn of events and what they discovered was shocking to say the least.

In defense of vote whoring (actually campaigning for votes and not just running on reputation alone) all four guys that got here have busted their azz copying and pasting , finding U tube videos and funny gifs and actively trying to get votes. It's fricking hard word and very time consuming to the point I am glad it's almost over.
We get pissed when our Dolphins don't do everything they can to win. Why should the members in this event be judged any differently ?
