1st Round -Jake Long, OT, Michigan

He will solidify this line for years to come.

2nd Round, pick one - Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville

Quentin Groves would've been the guy here but a shock to see Brohm still on the board. It would be insane not to draft him here.

2nd Round, pick two - Curtis Lofton, ILB, Oklahoma

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Great Replacement for Zach.

3rd Round - Cliff Avril , DE/OLB, Purdue

Instead of grabbing Chris Long in the first or Quentin Groves in the second, Miami grabs a great pass rushing guy. Fast guy off the edge with a non-stop motor. Great in blitz packages to start his career while learning from Porter and JT.

4th Round - Jordy Nelson, WR/, Kansas State

New and impoved version slot guy. Can eventually be a #2 receiver. He's big, tough guy whos not afraid to go over the middle. Great YAC.

6th Round, pick one - Orlando Scandrick, CB, Boise State

Fast, really fast. Great man coverage. Ran one of the fastest 40s.

Round 6, pick two - Geoff Schwartz, OG/OT, Oregon

Leader of one of the best rushing teams in the country. His versatility is a bonus as he can play RT or either guard spot. He has lots of experience. At 6'6, 330, he's huge- perfet guy for Parcells.

Ummm No. I'm just not a big fan of the Jake Long pick. And everyone seems to be riding that same bandwagon now. So for every mock now I reply saying it's not a great pic, which gives you the impression I want Gholston? Why? Because of my sig? I would be just as happy with Chris Long.

I just don't think Jake will be very good.

its not bad but a few of those players will be gone i believe. Scandrick has moved up and could go in the 2nd to 4th round range and lofton wont last that long in the 2nd according to some info out there.

We hear the Niners might have their sights set on Oklahoma LB Curtis Lofton in the second round — if he’s still on the board. Word is the team is quite impressed with the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year’s Patrick Willis-like zest for the game and productivity.
