Active Roster
1 - DE - Bjoern Werner - Speed & Power, with a relentless motor. Reminds me of J.Allen & Chris Long and would allow Odrick to move inside next year.
2a - CB - Jamar Taylor - Would be a 1st round pick but does not excel in pressing WR. Coyle does not require that and fits our zone scheme perfectly
2b - OG/C - Barrett Jones - Can play C/G and at a push OT. Smart, tough & doesnt get injured. He and Pouncey could play next to each other for 8-10 years.
3a - FS - Philip Thomas - Tweener safety Coyle likes. Smart, instinctive playmaker. At best could unseat Clemons, at worst back up both safety spots.
3b - DT - Brandon Williams - Small school prospect, who barring injuries would be in cusp of 1st round. Starks & Soliai both FA next year. This guy may be inside with Odrick 2014.
4 - OT - Oday Aboushi - Aggressive and before combine was considered ideal for ZBS. After 4th round I would take a fly on guys who have dropped due to combine.
5a - OLB - Chase Thomas - See above. Smart & Instinctive. Was consider a 2nd or 3rd before awful combine.
5b - OT - Brennan Williams - Project. Very raw but has potential. Better athlete than football player at present.
7a - RB - Raymond Graham - Again a dreadful combine. Was considered fast and explosive before running 4.68. Much like above I would go with tape
7b - CB - Marc Anthony - dropped due to injuries. Aggressive, physical corner who would be a bit of a project but superb on ST.
7c - K - Caleb Sturges - Either to replace Carpenter or at least give him a kick up the arse!
