Welcome, friends. Those of you I mocked in the past, I apologize. Those who railed against my optimism and called me a blind homer, welcome.
As Dolphin fans, I believe almost all of us can finally stand together, wear our Orange and Aqua with pride, and say with a loud, united voice:

"WHAT THE ####, ROSS?"

This inept, bumbling, blind, oblivious buffoon of an owner has proven that he is the single biggest detriment to his team. He wanted to appoint a football czar to oversee football operations; someone with football acumen (who is usually called a "GM"), and even managed to colossally #### THAT up. Not only did he pick a candidate who essentially burned a division rival to the ground just a few years ago, but also made our head coach not accountable to him.

This single, solitary thing that Ross has managed to do well is unite this fanbase...against HIM.

So thank you, Stephen Ross. Thank you for being such a polarizing figure that almost the entire Finheaven board finally agrees on something.

Thank you, and #### off.

That's what's amazing to me....he puts a guy in "charge" but only he can hire or fire the HC. It doesn't make sense at all. Once again every one in the NFL is laughing at us thanks to Ross.

Really? I'm pretty sure our division rivals are laughing their asses off right now. Especially the Jets. This is like that time when Rex Ryan thought it was a brilliant idea to hire Tony Fistpump as his OC.

Not really...the Pats are concerned with the playoffs and the other two have their own **** to deal with....finding new coaches (one of which had their coach quit on them), finding a QB...

Arrogant to think that the dolphins executive position hires matter to anyone outside of the Dolphin fandom...

I don't think any of our division rivals are very concerned about us either. I do think, however, that the powers that be in those organizations were likely glad to see Miami didn't make a brilliant ...or even a competent... move yesterday.

What baffles me is that the GM seemed to do a great job...whereas the Head Coach seemed to not always have his team ready....or make good decisions at critical times....or put the right personnel in the right places.

So.....obviously we needed a change over the GM and not the head Coach?

the Miami Dolphins....."the gang that couldn't shoot straight".

Hi and welcome to the group. Please stand up and introduce yourself to the room.

Hey, Tannenbaum could turn out to be a good guy with good ideas who sits back and appoints good decision-makers to run the franchise, and turn this thing around.

Of course, after looking at his tenure with the Jets, I think it's more likely that he's fat Inspector Clouseau and we are doomed.

I've officially reached the popcorn stage of fandom with this team. I don't care anymore. Bring on Mike Singletary, Mike Redmond, Mike Jones, whoever, to be the new coach. The 'Mangenius?' No problem. I'll just be over here, watching and laughing.

It's like groundhog day over and over again until we are all "Bill Murray" insane......................

What the hell we as dolphin fans are now caught in the twilight zone.I always hope iam wrong but we might sink faster than the titanic now.

I'm sorry. But this thread is bull****.

Ross inherited this ****ing mess.

Why don't we put blame squarely on the man who owned the team that started this descent into ineptitude.

And that is Wayne Huizenga. I blame him for the mess, more than Ross' inability to repair it.

I just read that beefalo GM Whaley is talking up EJ Manuel to HC candidates which has probably scared everyone off but Mike Shanahan.

Curious; How much did EJ, the Watkins trade, & the new owners affect Marrone's decision to bolt?

Washington Generals = Miami Dolphins

The NFL is NOT like a box of Chocolates in that we KNOW from one season to the next NE will win the AFC E and everybody else will fall somewhere between 2nd - 4th place on a rotating basis. Then Bal,Indy,Den,GB & the rest of the "winners" round out the playoffs every year...winners & losers with little to no change in decades.
