It's so awesome to see a Fins team so focused and structured again (Aka: Don Shula days) even in preseason. Our uniforms even looked better or darker like the good old days.
I like the head coach and on down the line.
You can see this team already having fun and just flat out reacting....not thinking. Expecially on the defense. These guys line up and hit you every down. It's everyone.... not just 2 or 3 players. The scheme and play calling is finally right.
I'm was even impressed with # 93.....however you spell his name. He reminds of Armstrong. He even got a couple sacks against the Chefs. I'm not saying he's going to make the team, just stating any "one player" that plays with this team is producing.
The play calling is fun to watch on both sides of the ball again. I haven't sat there scratching my head thinking why would they run that play. Everything just makes sense. Nice to see such a positive fresh start.
I know everyone has to hate division rivals, but my opinion "Pennington's the best thing that's happenend to us in a long time." I was hoping we were going to get him when Parcells showed up. I believe he can get us in the playoffs a couple of times soon. I know we always have to say he sucks, but he always beat us.....bad too. Now he's one of us.
At least this pre-season our quaterbacks are scoring/productive. No more 1,2,3 and out. Enough already.
Players under the tuna produce. He knows how to use them the right way. Take Matt Roth for instance.....I gave up on him thinking he would get cut with all these new guys looking so good, but instead finally they found a way to make him produce. How many of us were waiting for the Matt Roth that played in the Cheifs game. I was for 2 years.
The Tuna knows football, but the people he chooses to help are the right people too.
The only thing I don't like are all these announcers stating these guys are "no good" they were 1 an 15 last year.
All the 1 and 15 baggage got sent packing and we are on the right flight home. They can't even see this is a new team yet.
I see it and I can't wait till opening day!
