It's so awesome to see a Fins team so focused and structured again (Aka: Don Shula days) even in preseason. Our uniforms even looked better or darker like the good old days.

I like the head coach and on down the line.

You can see this team already having fun and just flat out reacting....not thinking. Expecially on the defense. These guys line up and hit you every down. It's everyone.... not just 2 or 3 players. The scheme and play calling is finally right.

I'm was even impressed with # 93.....however you spell his name. He reminds of Armstrong. He even got a couple sacks against the Chefs. I'm not saying he's going to make the team, just stating any "one player" that plays with this team is producing.

The play calling is fun to watch on both sides of the ball again. I haven't sat there scratching my head thinking why would they run that play. Everything just makes sense. Nice to see such a positive fresh start.

I know everyone has to hate division rivals, but my opinion "Pennington's the best thing that's happenend to us in a long time." I was hoping we were going to get him when Parcells showed up. I believe he can get us in the playoffs a couple of times soon. I know we always have to say he sucks, but he always beat us.....bad too. Now he's one of us.

At least this pre-season our quaterbacks are scoring/productive. No more 1,2,3 and out. Enough already.

Players under the tuna produce. He knows how to use them the right way. Take Matt Roth for instance.....I gave up on him thinking he would get cut with all these new guys looking so good, but instead finally they found a way to make him produce. How many of us were waiting for the Matt Roth that played in the Cheifs game. I was for 2 years.

The Tuna knows football, but the people he chooses to help are the right people too.

The only thing I don't like are all these announcers stating these guys are "no good" they were 1 an 15 last year.

All the 1 and 15 baggage got sent packing and we are on the right flight home. They can't even see this is a new team yet.

I see it and I can't wait till opening day!

I agree, this is a new team and not the 1-15 crap we had last year.

The guys are producing and the Defense does nothing but make me smile these past two weeks. I think it is too early to dub Pennington as "the best thing to happen to us in a long time" but hopefully he produces for us like he has so far.

Even after our should be touchdown to peele, he kept his cool and answered right back with another score. That is what excited me was the fact they didn't let the ref's call take them down, they got right back up and scored.

And Teddy didn't get his kick return called back either :)

I will admit that it's a step in the right direction - BUT It's only preseason guys.

I haven't seen our players play like this since 2001 (the last time we made the playoffs.) They are young, talented, and have a sense of urgency.

I keep hearing Tuna this and Tuna that. I know he's the man in charge and brought Ireland and the coaching staff here, but let's give Sparano and the rest of the coaching staff some credit.

That's the point of my whole post. In the second line I state:I like the head coach and on down the line.

Im not stating tuna is our savior, but he knows football and puts the right people in the right spots.

AKA: Ireland, Sparano, Henning.....players on down to trainers. The still have to do there job....... and they are and I love it!

Make no mistake. Tuna has his imprint on every facet of this rebuild. He is the puppet master. Without his direction and leadership, even with everyone else in place, a rebound would not be as quick (and technically we haven't even rebounded yet).:err:

Go Fins!

Exactly...its only pre-season. This won't necessarly translate to the regular season playing full games against the opponents 1st stringers. The fact is we may very well be 1-5 after 6 games. Will everyone still be saying this is a different team?

Improved from last year? Probably. But not as improved as some fans here are thinking based on pre-season results. I'm still expecting 5-7 wins. Which would be a pretty big improvement.

I think were definitley in the right direction and we have alot of young talent to build around. But people are getting there hopes up way to much. Were going to be a team that will be between 5 and 8 wins this year depending on luck, injuries, etc etc. I think another off-season with another good draft and free-agency and we will be a contender, but still then we might need a year or two to grow.

And also, this is not the 1-15 mess of a team that was last year but its also not a 2008 superbowl team, lets just remember that.

He never says anything about it, but you just know he must want to teach Billichik a lesson after what happened with the Jests...

i think the jerseys were sweat stained darker.

That's the problem with the aqua pants. I can't believe so many posters favor them. They get sweat stained and it looks sloppy as hell, especially since it varies so much from player to player.

I probably wouldn't notice it as much other than one woman who works in the same office always mentions it during the games, watching the monitor and ridiculing the Dolphins for how sloppy they look in the aqua pants.

It should be white on white for day games and aqua on white for late season night games. There's been a reason that logical combo has held up for more than 3 decades.

Last year we were the iami olphins. this year, we are the miami dolphins.
