What has been so frustrating with the Fins past couple of years is that they would go out and beat good/great teams only to **** the bed against bottom dwellers. This game had so many built in excuses for the team to lay an egg with all that transpired during the week, I was very nervous about it. Not only would a loss pretty much put an end to the season in week 4 no less, it wouldve opened the full blown circus parade. Short and simple, this was a must win against a poor oponent, and the Fins havent been able to win those under Philbin. They took care of business yesterday, in a convincing matter. So I have a hard time today with the "it was just the Raiders" narative. If only we beat half the teams with a losing record last year, we might have ended up with a first round bye, think about it for a second. the whole team played grea. Hell tannehill might have played his best game of his pro career, in a situation where he was actually playing FOR his pro carreer to continue. Thats what Im looking for from my QB, improvements not only in his game but in certains situations where he would play poorly. Yesterdays game against a bad team to save a season is certainly one of those situations he's struggled with before. Kudos to him and the rest of the team. the fact it was the worst team in the league makes this more impresive, as those games are why we missed the playoffs last year...

We did what good teams do and killed them.

Good teams also win games at home after a bye, as where the dolphins lose.

So who shows up vs GB? The dolphins or a good football team?

I think we go on a winning streak just because we play good against good teams...

We had oh **** moments, but the Raiders being a crappy team could not capitalize on them.

I would have liked us to take more shots down fields after we had the lead but oh well.

I wonder who is the top 3 rbs after Moreno returns.

After the 1st series when Oakland took the ball down field and scored a TD I Thought same ol fins BUT thankfully they destroyed Oakland and won handily . That was great to watch!

I'm gonna enjoy this bye week for sure

My wife says to me once she hears the final score.."there is a worse team than Miami?"...I just LMAO.

I was at the game, and it was fun to hear all the Raiders fans at Wembley sound like crickets. We won that game, true but there were still many mistakes that should concern us. The turnovers, dropped passes and some missed throws. In many ways it reminded me of the Patriots season opener, Lots of mistakes but a win. This team is still lacking fundamental. To me that sounds like a coaching failure.

Raiders are just limping along waiting for someone to put them out of their misery.....there was no way we could lose that game yesterday.....RT was due for a break out game, Raiders have a terrible secondary and weak defense.....the Raider frequent flyer miles the first 4 weeks of the season has to be a record (two trips to the east coast and a home game in London, England on thick grass lol bet their travel legs felt pretty weak by the end of that game) If someone how we did lose it, our season would be most certainly over, RT would have been benched, the D would mutiny against Coyle, the O would be looking at Lazor as if he was the problem and the fans would have gone ape ****......This team needed this win and bad going into the bye only makes it sweeter....I see this team working very hard over the next two weeks with confidence....if NE loses tonight we are tied for first place again.......I like our chances....Bills made a move at QB so they are in disarray..the Jets want to bench Geno because of his turnovers but the guy who would replace him is the king of turnovers....the division is there for the taking and we are good enough to do it.

Good point. People say, "beat a good team". Well, it doesn't very much matter that you beat a good team if you can't beat the bad ones first, does it.
