ok I will try and make this thread about rules and info.

The FGL (Finheaven Graphics League) Regular Season will begin on September 3rd. and will end November 25th. There will be one off week for all playoff teams and the playoffs will begin.

The Regular season will consist of 12 weeks each week will consist of 2 games per team. The Home Team will dictate the specs for the match, thus giving them Home Field advantage. At the end of the regular season only 3 teams will make the playoffs, the two divisional leaders and 1 Wildcard team.

The team with the best record in the conference will get a bye week and the 2 and 3 seed will battle out the first playoff game with the 2 seed having home field advantage. after both conferences have their champions, there will be one week off and then we will play the Graphics Bowl. There will be no Home team here. The specs will be decided the commissioner (me). In the event that the commissioner is in the Graphics Bowl, the specs for the Graphics Bowl will be decided by the team with the worst record in the FGL.

The FGL champion will get a badge to have under there post like the Premium Members and VIP badge.

There are two conferences Orange and Aqua and each of these Conferences have 2 divisions, East and West. I have created the Divisions and tried to balance them as much as possible. If you have any issues with the Divisions please send me a PM.

Schedule info:

Each division will face the teams in there divisions 4 times (2 home 2 away) the other team in there conference 2 times (1 home 1 away) and 1time vs. inter conference play(1 home vs. 2 teams 1 away vs. 2 teams).

Game Play:
The Commissioner will open a thread with the match-up. The Home team will then post the specs for the challenge. Both Challengers will have 24 hours to finish the challenge and must send in the work to the Commissioner who will hold the work. In the event that the commissioner is involved in a game if the opposing party does not feel comfortable sending to the commissioner to hold, the home team has the choice to pick someone to hold the work for them.

Schedule is huge, could be tough to keep up with school/sports, but I'll try my best

edit: any chance we can make a 4-6 team playoff?
 
well 4 team playoff system would get pretty predicatble, this way one good team is left out.


also with the schedule, its only 2 "games" a week
 
Wait so is it actually 6 teams, like the winner of each division then a wild card in each conference, or is it just the two best records in the conferences, then the next best overall record?
 
So, with the specs we will be able to call out how it is judged as well right? Just like the battles?
 
i did my round 3 already...since im the home team i already know what im doing!
 
:chuckle: first time I've actually looked at the schedule and the colouring is around the wrong way, it confused me :googly:
 
as i already mentioned to mindwarp, i am without photoshop for at least a week, because my computer with it crashed and is going to be sent out to be repaired in a couple days.

Sorry for the inconvience guys... I'll probably miss at least 2 "games"

One thing mindwarp suggested was rescheduling the games i'm going to miss into double headers, as long as the person who i am against agrees to it.
 
if you face me ill agree with that...but if a person dont you can do this...for argument sake lets say you face mindwarp... if hes home he sets up the stip...then he makes his and when you get pc back you make yours post both of them
 
alright, just got off the phone with HP

I will be shipping my computer off on Friday (the 22nd) and should get it back around the 29th, depending on how long it takes them to repair my laptop.

I agree with your post Jt, and i guess we'll just play it by ear, and see what happens...
 
Just talked to ilphinfan88 about replacing fitm in the graphics league...and hes agreed to it :wink: :wink: :wink:
