It has been the site. I just hope that the powers that be won't hesitate to make it known if us members need to pull together some $$$$$ to keep our beloved Finheaven going as our community grows.

Yes it is the site. It has been running poorly for me the last 2 weeks straight. I am sure that the mods and the techs are working on it though, and we as fin fans appreciate it.

How scaleable is FinHeaven? Seems that this is the time of year the server(s) start taking a crap everywhere.
From what I can gather from my very limited site information it dosent seem like it takes much more than 500 visitors to cause a major issue.

yes finheaven has indeed been running slower than usual and for some reason never sends me to the homepage but to the main forum section...however patience is key as the mods and techs try to fix everything thing. Finheavens the best site on the internet and i do not know what id do with out it!!!
Quick update here. Yes we are doing some massive improvements to the site. Its not a volume issue, it has been a software conflict. So we are correcting it. Since we had to do that anyway, we are also rolling out a new design so that is taking longer. This happens this time of year guys because the offseason is the time to do it. Thanks for your patience and keep your eyes open. There is a lot happening with the site this off season!!!
