Fins 40-1 odds, Patriots 3-1 to win SB

You've got to be kidding, right?

EDIT: I read the spreadsheet, I just have a tough time believing any place/body could put up odds like that this early...

and im sure the saints had even worse odds than we do this year last year...i know they didnt make the super bowl but they certainly were close....the pats are taking over for the cowboys of being americas team, most people think the patriots are the best even if they know nothing about football

And the Dolphins were heavily favored to make the Super Bowl last year. So what does that tell us? You never know what's gonna happen in the NFL and the 3:1 Pats could end up 4-12 this year. All it takes is one injury to Tom Brady.

Pats were probably favourites before offseason, and their off season has been spectacular. Why shouldn't they be overwhelming favourites?

Put me down for $500. I'll take $2,000 in return. Go Fins!!!!:dolphins:

Well..i bet itll all change like..if from the first place form line of scirmag brady ill tear his ACL or somethng( no, i dunt really want that t ohappen)

Probably not but then there never has been a team or headcoach with so much talent.

:bighug:
Im no trying 2 be a smartass or anyting..but after Bellichik's final run for gratnes (next..4-7 years) yall wont be great..because the team wil lbe in cap hell..))

One thing you always have to consider with betting odds: Its not always who Vegas thinks is going to win, it's how they can make the most profit on chowdaheads. They know Pat fans, Yankee fans, Duke fans, are gonna bet on their teams reguardless of odds so why give them bad odds? Check the daily Vegas lines. The most popular teams always have the best odds...

No team remains on top forever and that is a fact I know. This has been a nice long run after so so many disappointing years. I'm going to enjoy it as long as it last and if it only last another 2,3 or 4 yrs I'm ok with that.
I do think however you underestimate Belichick/Pioli's ability to sign quality players while remaining cap friendly. They have done well balancing the budget and I don't see any reason why it won't remain that way for the foreseeable future.
